I dunno... he's got some crazy proportion issues: large upper body, small legs.

Now, I know this is a WAY early prototype, but I hope the proportions get better. Even tho there is a lot of engineering in those legs, with each piece doing something specific, I am optimistic that proportions will be improved.

We have a lot of time.

I see your concern about the bigger upper body compared to the legs. With that being said though, he looks better proportioned than MP5 Megatron. I just find it refreshing to get another MP Con thats not another seeker remold/repaint. I'll probably get it pending reviews. I also hope that Takara might see fit for a Shackwave repaint for nostalgic reasons.

Why? Why do we need another Shockwave thread? Can't we please just have one?

I'm loving it. Very interested to see how he scales with the other MPs. I hope he's right about seeker size.

Nah, Shockwave should be maybe slightly taller than Soundwave. Shocks was just shorter than Megatron, around Soundwave's height. But definitely taller than Starscream and the seekers.

Haha, someone's upset their favorite company just got the rug pulled from under them again:p

This what I was hoping Takara would do. Nice wide chest and curvy legs...lol, you would think I was talking about something else but this is what Shockwave is supposed to look like to me. I look forward to picking this up.

Sweet, money saved! Is it just me or does he seem small next to Hot Rod? Glad I already have QW.

It'll be both totally hilarious and somewhat awesome if Takara decides to include both his AstroMagnum and G1 triggers as accessories/add-ons, respectively...

No, I'm very happy with the proportions. they're a good mixture of the toy and most G1 media representations. Those familiar with Quakewave are likely to be used to the embellishments and details of that figure and find mp Shockwave to be strange.
