You'd be amazed how many of our little bunch of UK TF fans are of different racial backgrounds.

    We're all excruciatingly British though.

So all the times I've posted a Beast Wars figure in the find a figure thread, I've been annoying somebody from a Bond movie?

Cool to see the real person and nice looking collection.

    Soooo...
You're saying that I have to be a member of your circle of UK friends to get an interview? Way to dash my hopes.

    Just messing with ya ;)

Another fascinating interview. An eclectic collection that fits its owner to a T.
Kit, I love your sense of humor. Sucks that the movie messed up your credit.

"Excruciatingly" British? I'm just curious what that means.
I read that and I'm thinking you're all like "Cor blimey, let's get my MIB Grand Maximus out of the boot of my lorry, take the lift up to my flat, ring some chums, and watch Doctor Who on the telly while we drink tea and eat crumpets" :D

Ah Tik, this would have been a great opportunity to peddle your "Minimus Ambus" thread!

    Also your shelves are crooked.

    You're crooked! ;)

I wrote this interview a couple of months ago, before Minimus became my new toy muse. And yeah, the shelves are crooked, they always have been since they were put up. They're screwed in all the same, so the only way to level them would be to loosen some shelves (to fit the others) but that would leave them loose and mobile, or find washers to add to the screws to hold tight and level but... I didn't have those at hand at the time and can't be bothered to do it now!

Shit, I didn't really know the shelves were crooked, I was more commenting on the photograph!

I love your idea on just being a casual collector and not allowing any of the media be a part of your opinion. Get what you want. Rule of cool.

For more laughs and not so-crooked photos, you guys need to hit up this thread if you haven't already.

Props to Tikgnat for what amounted to the most entertaining bio I've read in a long time! Great stuff, keep it real, thanks again Maz.

Great interview & Tikgnat sounds like a humble guy. Plus very envious of his Autobot city setup! :D

    Shameless self interested bump.

My Op display moved around a little bit since that first picture (with the addition of G2 Laser Optimus) and I think it looks much better. Now it's just two rows, with shorter ones on the back row being bolstered by some wooden home made risers.

Also here's a shot of the mythical loft, well part of it anyway.

Behind me are the boxes for all my Citybots and a 200x Castle Greyskull plus a fully kitted out Star Wars Replublic Gunship... a veritable Alladins cave up there.

I've even been to Kit's house and seen the living room display.

Was not allowed near the mythical loft.

    Nice read once again Maz!

And tikgnat...man, all these years looking at your William Shatner avatar got me so brainwashed with what you looked like that I got confused when I saw your actual pic. LOL!

Not only are you a cool TF collector, you got to be in my most-underrated Bond movie for like ten seconds? Living the dream, man. :D
