So, a lot of us are mad that according to IDW the Ultra Magnus we all know and love may have been Minimus Ambus all along? Could it be true?



But he's a versatile fellow, able to hide himself elsewhere in the armour...



But this leads me to a darker truth... if he's not always in the Magnus armour cockpit... where else could be have been?

It appears that Superion is a 6 robot Combiner after all!



Even 3P Decepticon combiners aren't immune! Has he been playing both sides of the war?



It also appears that G1 Ultra Magnus really was Minimus Ambus, the proof is overwhelming.



It appear's he can loadbear the cab section of G1 Ultra Magnus or just the original G1 Magnus armour itself!



It's not even that, he appears to have been a participant in the Headmasters process too! (Yes! His head is G1 Headmaster port compatible!)



It's unbelievable. I can barely fathom it, where else has Minimus Ambus been? And I suspect it's not just Cybertronian affairs he's been involved in either, take a look at this.



I say we expose him to the light of the world! Everybody, show us where you found Minimus Ambus! Only through knowledge of where he has been can we gain safety from his insidious influence!

Hahahaha! I'm having this idea now that Minimus is actually just having the Autobot/Decepticon war with himself.

In Superion, he reaches out and punches 3P Decepticon Combiner (Can't tell who it is) and then climbs out, runs over to the 'Con Combiner and climbs inside, proceeding to fall over.

It's like playing chess with yourself!  

 

That's World's Smallest Ultra Magnus. It's a nice bit of trickery, isn't it? Fooled me at first, too.

 

I dont have him yet but Ill definitely try this with my figures.

Im surprised he hasnt turned up in Metroplex yet.

Who isn't Minimus Ambus?

The irony is that Diaclone originally was to be piloted mechs. The idea of a sentient robot unfathomable in Japan. Then when finally the idea is flipped back and Ultra Magnes is a piloted mech - the Japanese version is not!
