    I've been lurking for years and I've decided I want to participate in the community.

    So... Battle Core Optimus Prime.. I'm personally torn about him. I have a pre-order, but I've been thinking of cancelling it. I was thinking about repurposing as Nova Prime (given the different head design) but maybe he'd be a nice way to save some money in an expensive year of CW toys.

    What about others? Getting him or not? I'm kind of curious.

    Save your money towards next years releases or the fembots. He's a utter waste of money and will be on clearance for $10 on Black Friday.

    I'm planning on getting him repurpose into either Nova Prime before he became a Prime or Checkpoint.

    Passing. I have the first Optimus which is good enough for me, and I'm not that much of a fan of Optimus combining.

    I'm getting him, but I'm not using him as Optimus. I might use him as Thunderclash, or Nova Prime. I know it might not be a good buy for some, but hey, at least you got a good base for either of those two examples!

    There's no point in me buying him. I have a Prime in that mold that I didn't want to buy anyway, but I did regardless and regretted it. A white Prime? I'm bored already.

    The only real option for that mold is Motormaster. Voyager Prime was given the shortest end of the stick in the Combiner Wars remold-orgy.

    Will probably end up getting it, especially if it begins to warm the toy shelves. I do find it to look like a great companion for the Prowl coming out, so it will end up being dubbed "Checkpoint". I do not intend to combine it, though.

    I actually find Trailbreaker to be the least offensive of the Autobot redecos, because it gives an option for a G1 cartoon head as opposed to the IDW design of the previous one. But I'm passing on it regardless

    Nope. Don't really care for the other Prime, let alone a white repaint whose headsculpt budget could have gone to Blast Off.

    No. I have MM and the regular Prime. There's no need for this version in my collection.
