Good find, but the day I have to put Transformers on a payment plan is the day I re-evaluate my hobbies.

that'd be the day it stops being a hobby, and starts being an addiction.

I'm sure you would have to re-evaluate your hobbies when you realize how much you've spent on Transformers already.

Not a chance. Still cheaper on the wallet than golf, cheaper than drinking in my younger days, cheaper than a lot of things.

I think instead of financial promotions, it would be better if they just offered it cheaper than other stores instead like Amazon used to.

Or it becomes, you know, that day it stops being a hobby for adults and becomes a toy some parent really wants to get to make their child happy.

I'm pretty sure golf clubs and liquor go on credit cards more readily than Transformers. Nothing wrong with charging your hobby if that's how you like to budget things. Cripes.

Well, with inflation, I guess technically it's like a fraction of a percentage discount.

How do you do layaway on a third party figure? I thought that was a in store kind of thing.

Children can, but the parents don't always have the means to, especially before it sells out. I'm not saying it's right to put yourself into debt over something, but I know from experience about what it's like trying to save money for something for your child and by the time you get it, it's off the shelfs.

You must hate money to just give it away like that.

I can't think of more exaggerated markups than ones perpetrated by comic book shops.

it will be all over the place by christmas. and on clearance afterwards. just like very large toy.

a toy that your average kid doesn't even know about yet.

Christmas isn't the only gift giving holiday. And why wouldn't kids know about it yet? Do you think kids have never seen the internet? Or toy store flyers?

The extra money don't bother me because I get to put it on layaway,by the time I saved up that much the figure I want would probally be out of stock and that's not the risk I'm willing to take ecspecially with fans toys figure due to the markup of them later on....
