Hello dudes, my Hasbro Masterpiece Optimus Prime (Asia reissue) has a bit of silver overspray around the chest windows and I would like to know if there is a safe method to correct it washing the overspray away.
Could you suggest me some products and techniques to use to not risk to damage the plastic (it's the hasbro version so red parts are bare red plastic, not painted)

    Thank you so much!

p.s. don't know if it is the right section... if not sorry, please tell me where should I have posted

I had a similar thing with my Hasbro MP Buzzsaw with yellow on this beak, I used a craft knife and just scraped at the paint until it was gone. you want to be careful if you do this as too much and you'll be scraping at the plastic underneath.

I was thinking about some liquid to wash away the overspray... not scaping. I wonder if that is possible...

You may want to use diluted rubbing alcohol. Dilute it with water, and rub at the spot with a Q-tip (takes a while but gets the job done).

Be very careful though, because too much alcohol can damage plastic (especially clear plastic).

Magic eraser cut it into a tiny shape with an exacto then just rub over it will not damage the plastic at all.

I have been using it to remove those identifying numbers on the newer toys.

It's much less messy than alcohol or other liquid cleaners.
