First of all, Thanks Maz for the oppertunity to share these thoughts and experiences with everyone. It felt good.

Thanks man, always a pleasure hanging out with you. We should do dinner, you, CURAMEN, and I at some point. :)
You're too modest. I think people would be fascinated to see and hear about your collection. I know I'd love to hear more about your Brick-Articulator customs and that crazy minibot collection of yours.
Thanks man, I love that quality in other people, that's a great compliment.
Wow, thanks. That statement might seem a bit mundane to some, but I've seen a few pics of the collection you were able to put together, and I can assure everyone that those two words mean a lot coming from you.
" candid and direct but remains helpful" I like that. Thanks. I'm glad at least a bit of light shined beyond my grumpy-assness. :p

Thanks, brother. :)  Again, you, turboedguy, and I, dinner at some point.

lol, yep those are the ones. Thanks again for the deal. :thumb s
Thanks. I cherish that pic with Welker and Cullen. Glad you appreciate it.
This comment just blew me away. I'm honored to have you as a friend, bud.
Thanks man. Glad that part of the article resonated with you. It's a section I reworked a few times to make sure I was being as accurate as possible in reflecting how I truly felt.
    Thanks.
But it was a Grand Max that I cut the tape on, not Brave Max.
I still have no regrets about it. I had searched for over a year to find a minty sample, and when this MISB one became available at a price I was comfortable with, there was no question. Funny thing is, if I sold it today, I would still be making a significant profit, even if I did open it.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it :)

    Maz,

Another great article, this is really close to how I would answer all of these questions and it sound very similar to my collection minus the Japanese G1 figures.

I was part of that whole scam thing too, I lost about $400 in TF merchandise I think about it on rare occasions but I've mostly moved on.

    Hyperoptic,

Man I'm so jealous that you got to meet both Frank & Peter that must have been so awesome.

Sorry to hear you were affected by that scam...

I really didn't know how special that moment with Frank & Peter was at the time. I only realized what a unique opportunity it was a few years later. Getting to meet just one of these guys is hard, and will most likely be in a convention context where you need to deal with a short amount of interaction time after waiting in long lines. But to have them both in the same location, with quality personal time and multiple photo opportunities, just doesn't happen that often. I know that much now. :)
