WITH. OUT. FAIL. Every single thing I buy from HasbroToyShop always has a damaged box, I'm not talking about the shipping box, I'm talking about the inner toy packaging. ARGGG Anyone else have that happen?
Yeaaaah HTS shipping is really hit or miss lately. I've had a few bent cards thanks to someone cramming a deluxe in a box meant for something small like a legends figure.
my latest one has box knife scores... from the top center down the front of the clear plastic!?!?!?! what the?
Your far from the only one. In fact, just about everyone who has ever ordered from HTS has received an item or two crammed into a box one size to small. Knife scores across the tops of your items where the shipping department butchered the receiving cargo to repack to fill orders are the norm.
Yeah I've had plenty of instances where they either ship stuff in a box that's either too small (which often does lead to the box being dinged up, especially anything on a card) or too comically large (I've had a scout-type figure and Marvel 3.75 figure shipped in a box big enough for a Voyager or bigger). Thankfully, the toy itself has never been damaged en route.
That or not getting the item you didn't order. Never had that problem. I have gotten a few thing that were dinged up. Lately though, I haven't experience anything major damage. The CW wave 2 I got a few months back came in really good shape.
I was happily surprised when I got Quickslinger and Brake Neck in great shape from HTS...because most items I order are usually bent and crushed.
Almost every time. However, I don't keep the boxes so I don't care unless the figure itself is damaged. If youre a mint box collector then I wouldn't recommend HTS. There's a reason you can pay more for mint on BBTS or Tfsource.
Not trying to bust your balls but I haven't had any issues with them. They're in PA and I'm in NJ, so maybe it's the short trip.
My theory is that as they come out of manufacturing, they toss the damaged box ones for online stock sales (don't see packaging online) and keep the undamaged packages for on shelf retail sales.
Hasbro Toy Shop isn't actually Hasbro, someone licensed their name. I've bought cases of Star Wars figures and also just bought 2 Leader Ultra Magnuses and they were both shipped inside case boxes inside the larger shipping box. So they don't know if they're damaged or anything.
yeah, i live in PA, about 45 miles away from where the shipment originates, and i've never had a problem. if the shipping box is fine, it would seem odd though that the packaging would be messed up. i couldn't care less though, it's not like i'm going to keep the packaging.. i mean, these are main line hasbro figures, not masterpiece takara figures. i'd rather they just lower the prices, get rid of the packaging, and just wrap the things in bubble wrap lol.
