Am I a jerk for saying that you missing out on something is no reason for a reissue? The whole point of collecting is because this stuff won't be around forever, and people other than you ARE willing to pay that price.

If you can't afford your wants, then live without them.

Does it make you a jerk? Some would say yes- fortunately there is enough demand for TF product that if TT/Hasbro do not re-issue some 3P will do it for them.

If you feel that the whole point of collecting is to pay absurd tertiary market prices from other people have managed to obtain first- hold on as the demand increases- inflate the value and then resell- well then perhaps you are not a jerk, but there some other descriptors people could be used to express feelings about those who share your narrow viewpoint of collecting. Can I afford to drop $250 on a TT Skywarp? Yes. Do I want/need to? Nope.

Anyway- this thread as been made redundant because apparently there is an upcoming KO releases with rumored improvements and fixes! I'll be buying some high quality KOs for a fraction of the cost.

Here's the deal. I'd love nothing more than for every Classics or MP exclusive to be released at retail in oversaturation levels so I could score every figure my heart desires, but I also understand why that doesn't happen. Wishlisting is one thing, but season it with a little logic.

And lets face it, the people who refuse to pay anywhere near what market price on these toys go for are the sole reason the KO people are making toys.

Logic? At what point did I lack logic? Unless you have some incite on the number of units sold by TT/Hasbro- you don't really have any more information than I do.

The various incarnations of Starscream has sold out how many times at retail? It would be no different for Thundercracker and Skywarp.

As for KO manufacturers- yes I agree and we thank them for it!!!

I can't imagine that Hasbro wouldn't reissue the Seekers again in the Masterpiece line. As long as they sell, why not? And yes, another run of Starscream would be welcome. I never even saw the damn toy on the shelf to even CONSIDER whether or not I wanted to purchase it.

And the fact that Grimlock happened indicates there's a willingness...

If it was actually going to go for that much I'd seriously consider selling mine. But there are plenty going for between $150-$300 if you look for MP Skywarp.

If TRU releases Skywarp for $60-$70, I will upgrade my MP-03 Walmart Skywarp. If not, he will remain in the back corner of my Decepticon Season 1 MP shelf.

I'm with you. The hip kibble Warp and Scream drive me nuts, but I'm learning to deal.

It took me a long time to find an MP-7 without the stickers applied.

But I have little or no sympathy for people who miss the boat these days. I have watched too many people drag their feet, cry for a reissue, drag their feet again, and then cry for another reissue. It gets old quickly. At some point, you have to take responsibility.

But nobody is paying $599.99 for MP-11SW.

Either that's $600 in Canadian dollars and that's just how bad it's gotten, or more than likely the seller is just crazy.
