Nope. He'll probably go up along with Groove sometime either the week before or after the next wave of items come in.

 

Yup. The Adventure stuff goes up for preorder about a month before it comes out; why so much later compared to MPs or the Classics lines, I don't know, but that's how it's gone with Japanese retailers so far.

I wish I knew why HLJ hasn't put up Takara's version of CW Leader Thundercracker yet,surely they have plans to release him,and what makes it worse is they already have Leader Ultra Magnus up.Do you think TakTom ain't gonna release him cause he is just a remold of Jetfire?.

I really wish I knew so I could decide whether to go ahead and order the Hasbro version or not.

 

No idea man. Takara releases what they want when they want. As it is right now quite a few figures are being folded into their Adventures line. Otherwise I don't think they'd have gotten a release so readily. Heck people are still waiting to see if Takara will do Skids. If your worried just get Hasbro's and then sell later on if Takara does release him and you like that version more.

 

Yeah it's not guaranteed at all that Takara will do either Thundercracker or Starscream. They haven't been redecos/remolds as often as Hasbro has (still no Skids or G2 Jhiaxus, never released Black Shadow/the Junkion with Junkheap head/Skullgrin/Goldfire/Nightbeat/various Legends) or did their own thing (Go-Shooter, Cloud Starscream).

Doesn't mean it can't happen (Armada Megs is happening, albeit as an exclusive), but don't assume they will.

 

Never ordered a Takara figure at release. What's cheaper for UW Menasor, AmiAmi or HLJ? Including shipping rates.

 

Hey Slave,I can answer that even tho AmiAmi is the cheapest overall they are also the most popular and with stuff like Masterpieces end up selling out within minutes.Now when it comes to HLJ they are pretty competitive with AmiAmi as far as prices go but the good thing about HLJ is they don't sell out as quick.

But in my honest opinion HLJ is the better site if you learn there release schedule and get there right when a figure is released,I have never had one of my orders cancelled due to lack of stock,but I have with AmiAmi once or twice.Hope that helps.

 

Currently Amiami has UW Menasor for 11,240yen and HLJ has him for 12,000 yen. We don't know shipping costs yet. They'll be comparable, but HLJ is usually a little cheaper on the shipping, but I'm not sure if they'll be 760yen cheaper.

To respond to Rodimus Mike, Amiami has gotten a lot better with stock, the Tracks preorder is still open in fact 3 months after it went up. I haven't had an issue with orders with either site, but people had issues with HLJ for the Takara Legends Arcee recently.

To me they're both good sites, HLJ also has a big advantage with their private warehouse, so you can ship your items up to 60 days after release. With Amiami you can only group your shipments together for items released within the same month; and not 30 days. They mean calender month. Like I said, they're both good sites, but I usually go for Amiami since I order multiples sometimes and the price differences add up.

 

Hey DukeFett,I am not saying Amiami isn't any good but for me personally HLJ has certain perks that Amiami doesn't have like you pointed out like the private warehouse,and other things.So what it all comes down to is personal preference,just sayin.

 

Hey sorry if it came off as combative, I shop at both and think they're both good places to buy from. The only thing I really wanted to point out was that their stock, especially for MPs, has improved a lot.
