    G1 Soundwave D-17 Japanese release variants?

    Always wanted one of these MIB and I finally got one for a good price

    Was wondering: did Takara release this in two different versions for the chest eject portion? I saw one with the area similiar to the reissue TRU Soundwave and one thats the same as the US release soundwave.

    Anyone care to share any info?

    Because these changes are more commonly associated with the later Soundblaster retool, people mistakenly believe the Soundwave reissues were based on Soundblaster, when in fact they were based on the running change version of Takara G1 Soundwave!
