Yeah, I'll no doubt get a hold of a yellow Sedan before too long. I actually passed on one not long ago due to no chest sticker. Now I wish I got it as a stand in until a better specimen could be found. But i feel you brought up another misconception. Some long time collectors I see are under the impression that if a toy is found on ebay, it can't be that rare. I think that might have had some merit 10 years ago as collectors had less resources and what was actually rare were in collections and sold and traded amongst collectors. But as the hobby base grew, and knowledge and information was passed around, more demand followed and prices of rare pieces reflect that. Now after years of collecting some of those collectors opted out of the hobby and offered their pieces through various channels, but now I think most who want top dollar for those prized pieces go the eBay route. We're seeing some rare stuff there now. And through estate sales, box finds, etc... some crazy stuff has surfaced. I've seen a total of 2 white Estrela Cliffjumpers on ebay in the years I've been looking, both within the last 6-7 months. It is still a pretty rare piece. And as you stated, over the last 2-3 years I've seen numerous Lynsa pieces on ebay, but they remain quite rare regardless. I still hunt there primarily for my collection despite knowing a few big time collectors and a buddy in Brazil who gives me first crack at everything he finds.
Damn good point, to be fair. But, looking at all channels that these Lynsa have been available through in the last decade, be it private, communities, Facebook, eBay, forums etc, I still see more now than back when they were discovered after the first batch were spoken for. Cheers dude All the best Maz
