My thing is that my combiners are in combined mode in my display. It doesn't matter if Lightspeed doesn't have the iconic chest window thingy on him with CW Compy because the alt mode is closer to the original. I REALLY don't like the look of the Lambo on Compy. Also, I am gonna catch flak by saying I don't really care for Rook all that much. I dislike the head sculpt, and the knuckle cannons look just as stupid as they do on X-Brawn and Bombshell.

Which ones? Like, I'm guessing the DA one is Dark Age/Age of Extinction, but I don't know every movie release's designation off the top of my head...

So Striker Prime. Okay then. They certainly doll up the mold nicely, though it would've been nice to work in the parts ROTF Prime was forced to budget out, notably the tires and toolboxes that were originally going to collapse.

The UW Computron may be a closer match to the show, but their drill om their Nosecone hangs down the calf in an ugly, akward way that I don't care for. What good is a big drill if it just gets in the way and you can't stow it? CW Lightspeed is fine with me, as I have little attachment to the original character and the Streetwise mold is greatly superior to the Sunstreaker/ Wheeljack mold, IMHO, especially with it's wonky hips.

That's two down. I like the Air Raid mold better than what I have seen of TakTomy's Blast-off retool as Strafe. And the Afterburners are identical except for colors and weapons. Scattershot has major retooling on his Computron chest plates, and their guns all combine -- into a big mess. And the TakTomy one includes those butt-ugly @$$ hand/foot/guns, which are, IMO, horrid as feet.

I'm more than fine with my Hasbro Computron and wish I had another one, as long as I can get the Perfect Effect sets for each. Don't need or want the UW version.

I really like TR Broadside's jet mode (with modifications, of course. The official jet mode is ass). Swapped the tailfins and mistransformed the legs a bit and it looks much better, but still comes across as massive.

Still his worse mode, but I still like it.

I haven't done any mods or mistransformations yet but I don't think the jet mode is as bad in person as people make it out to be

You're forgetting that the people who make KO's have slim to none in the realm of engineering costs. They don't actually develop the toys.

It is better in person, especially with the weapon plugged in, but I won't deny swapping the fins around to angle back looks better.

    So what. I don't give a shit.

Einstein didn’t come up with the concept of relativity either. Do you boycott products that have developed from this evolving discovery while giving him the undue credit?

Bell didn’t invent the telephone either. Yet he got credit for that too. Better throw your cellphone away.

The sewing machine is another one. Singer ripped off Howe for the design and yet here you are... all cozy and warm in your tailored clothing... better burn your clothes and wear a damn toga, because your moral code is sooooo above that....

So you're expecting Takara's prices to go down to that of a KO producer who doesn't actually have to design the toy? And who do you think is gonna design those things if takara stops? Not the KO producers.

Oh whatever. You shape the course of Transformers toy history your way, and I'll buy the KO's that can from all the money you waste on inferior 1st designs haha.

    I don't give a shit lol

Oh was I being rude? I thought I was being condescending. (Rude is just too mundane)
Is hypocracy something a person should embrace with open arms and a thank you note?
Should regurgitated, beating drum, high horse arguments be lamented upon with the awe and reverence?
Or should I just get right to the point and call a spade a spade?
Yeah. That's the one. I lost patience for your kind of interjection years ago.

Takara skips on making toys all the time, that's why the 3p market is booming. Some of those guys leech off into the KO market, and we're seeing KOs with engineering that exceeds normal releases now.

Also the KO market helps support the develpment of factories that make toys, factories that in abundance help keep the cost of manufacturing down.
At least one end of the market reflects these cost savings in the retail price of the finished product...

Here's my unpopular opinion: I think the Age if Extinction toy line is one of the best out of all the movie toy lines. The transformations are simple, fun, and in some cases really clever. The articulation is good. The weapon storage in vehicle mode on most of the figures is great. The vehicle modes look great, the bot modes look great. I just love it. There are a few qc issues, but every line has that.

I guess something what helps me like some of them more is another of my unpopular opinions. Often times, I don't care if a figure is inaccurate to the source in vehicle or bot mode. As long as its fun and looks good on its own merits, its still a good figure. The best examples of this are Lockdown and Hound with their movie inaccurate proportions.
