I'm not going to complain about Universe Ironhide since that was a factory error, but the other use of that mold, Ratchet, has the strangest helmet coloring. Comic Ratchet usually has a red helmet and white crest, while Sunbow Ratchet had a white helmet and black crest. This figure matched neither, having a white helmet and red crest. If the figure wasn't so bad to begin with, I'd break out some paint and reverse the deco.

I also want to mention the FoC Wreckers. I would've bought them if they were colored properly.

I think saying it was painted by the G2 folks is a tad hyperbolic... the paint scheme is odd, but certainly not "neon" as the G2 figures by any means.

I would agree that the paint choice stinks... it's a very nice update to the character, and it's marred by the paint scheme. The Takara version rectifies this, but it's hard to come by, and really expensive. =(

(Heck, I just ebayed Dinobot... Universe edition is 80... the Henkei version... 200$. Eesh.)
