I can't fathom what their marketing scheme was but given that they are selling like hotcakes we can expect combiner wars far into the future. Predaking baby!

 

This is what I think. I don't think hasbro's had a hot line in quite some time, and my guess is they are planning any number of things to develop it. People put it in terms of established combiners like computron, but Hasbro has already proven they are looking to expand beyond that idea. Dinobots, decepticon jets, headmasters all with interchangeable heads, targetmasters that can combine on their own to form large weapons, anything really. Maybe even make their first MP combiner that is still compatible with the current cw line.

 

Yeah sky's the limit I believe all this online ordering from hts should tell them who's buying and what's being bought .imagine if they employed a few of us  

 

Given that Botcon and SDCC are what 3-5 months away it is almost inevitable we will see early concepts maybe even actual final production pieces of some CW figure.But I also am looking forward to the not shown ones that always are revealed a month or two after the conventions.

I expect Hasbro to show the usual released figures and also Devastator as their basic show pieces,but then they'll have a handful of new CW's like Leader Starscream,Bruticus from remolded Hotspot,but I am hoping they will surprise us and show a Technobot set and that it will be a new mold Scattershot and new limbs.One can only hope.

I completed Superion (awesome) and I told myself no to Menasor (Playskool version Stunticons). Last night I picked up Dragstrip for $7... pretty awesome. Now it seems that I will be completing Menasor...damn you Hasblow!...

 

Waiting for Devastator seems slow. I mean waiting 9 month for my Niece was faster than this.

 

The Stunticons are all pretty good, apart from Breakdown, those hips are annoying and the combiner port in his foot can mess up his balance in wide stances.

 

I gotta be honest! this line is easily my favorite ever! Really digging the bots and cons.

 

I know, right? I just can't get enough of this line. I intend to pick up what ever Hasbro produces for CW at this point.

All I gotta' say is "keep em' coming".

 

While I've never been a completist, I can see myself picking up a large portion of the CW line. Too many great homages and g1 teams recreated to pass up on these figures.
