He really wasn't, just had a bad waist attachment and kinda nubby arms (much like ER Prime).

And unlike most CW molds he wasn't milked to high heaven so remained one of the most unique.

 

While apparently not big on quality, there's an undersized KO of MMC Feral Rex that's out there. Personally, I'm more a fan of the Jinbao OSKO Feral Rex; it may have been intended to be a fit with Masterpiece (especially since the indimavidual robot modes are effectively ol' skool Leader to larger MP sized), but when combined, it just works SO INCREDIBLY WELL with mainline stuff. I think that the PotP Predaking is about the same size, but the dumb design decisions that went into it mean it ain't quite got the sheer presence that Jinbao's "Into the Sky" has.
On the downside, the Jinbao is wildly unstable when combined. The way I have it positioned is the best way *for me* to keep him standing.

 

If you haven't already, a quick easy fix for stability is simply to get some grip under his feet. I added some rubber pads and now his feet grabs the floor so well that he stands very well now.

 

Even though I absolutely adore CW Computron…. CW Superion is what I would consider best in class of the CW combiners

 

Agreed. He’s not my favorite per se either, but he’s probably the best in terms of proportions, balance and cohesion overall.

I’m especially enamored with this version…
