Pre-ordered MP BB @ Anime Export. Should I be worried?

    Back in March, or May, or whenever, I pre-ordered and payed for MP Bumblee at Anime Export.
    I have yet to receive the toy... nor have I received any e-mail concerning it.

    I went to log into my account, and my log in wasn't recognized. SO I tries to reset my password and username wasn't recognized.

    So I replied to my order confirmation e-mail, as well as their contact page explaining my situation(s).

    I did this last night, and now I wait for their reply.

    I'll be patient as long as I need to be, but is Anime Export good? Should I be worried?

    I used Paypal BTW.

    I wouldn't worry too much at this moment pending if and how they reply to your e-mail. If several days go by with no reply, I'd either send one more e-mail to give them one final chance to reply and then file a PayPal claim or go directly to filing a PayPal claim. If they reply and state they have never heard of your order, then I'd also file a PayPal claim.

    Edit: I missed the part that this was paid for back in March. They do have a 45 day limit on claims but it might be worth a shot to try since this was pre-order situation. :(

    If it was paid for in march then hasn't it been too long to file a PayPal claim?

    Yea, I forgot about the 45 day limit. :(  Still, might be worth a shot to try since this was a pre-order situation.

    When I pre ordered Wheejack from them I never got a reply. I did have to reset my password to get back into my account. I wouldn't worry to much about it.

    I also had an MP bee pre order with them. I'm waiting for magnus to come in before I ship. I beleive bee became available for shipping on Thanksgiving. Did you receive a shipping notification? I believe you have to log into your AE account and pay for the shipping then they will ship it

    I have received no notifications at all. My last correspondence from them was back in Match/May.

    I cannot log into my account; nor will it accept my username to reset my password.
    And I cannot find a way to look up / reset my username. In short I am locked out.

    I've e-mailed them and await their reply. I have since started this thread while waiting.

    do you have an order confirmation email from when you placed your order? I locked myself out of my account ages ago and by looking at one of those emails I was reminded what my username was.

    Never had any problems with them though. I've always had exceptional service.

    I've had 18 months of good buying experiences with AE. But.

    This summer two non-TF items I preordered from them went into "waiting for stock" on my orders page and 4 months later they are STILL at that status. Two polite "what's happening?" Emails to them have gone unanswered. Having heard from plenty of others on here about their poor response to emails it hasn't exactly left me feeling comfortable with continuing to put business their way. These were not small orders.

    Now my order for MP Bee has "disappeared" from my "shipped" page. It was there when it was under "pay for shipping" and I prompted did (thanks to Scuba for his UK thread heads-up) but I recieved no confirmation email and now it's just.......gone.

    This hasn't happened before. I am concerned.

    So, my message would be to hang in there and you'll probably get what you ordered. But I can't endorse the "buy with confidence" message I would once have been able to back wholeheartedly.

    I'm sure once I am able to log into my account again most of my concerns will dissipate.

    only be worried when your stuff is missing during shipping. They will not help you if your item get lost.

    Anime Export is shit unless everything goes EXACTLY as planned. I still have no idea if the place is run by real people or not, since I have never gotten a response to anything I ask them. Bottom line for me is after what they've done to me, I refuse to order with them unless I'll get the figure within paypal's coverage range. They will not cancel items even when they fit within the guidelines of the cancellation policy on their site. They will not refund you. They will not fucking speak to anyone at all.

    As much as I like AE's pricing, they aren't exactly stellar with their Customer Service.

    It seems that they don't even check their emails or just ignore most of them.

    I've been inclined to find a Japanese speaking/writing person locally to have them send an email for me in Japanese to see if that gets a response, but haven't tried that yet as I've ended up receiving all my orders.

    I'd recommend checking that confirmation email and finding your user name. You can then log in and most likely will find your order in your account. They used to send emails when stuff came in stock but that seems to no longer happen since a few months ago.

    now that i think about it, i have asked them a general enquiry before.... no reply. while i personally havent had any bad experiences with them yet, my current pre order of UM might be the last one i do with them

    Lol. I did the exact same thing. Ordered all the preorders back in march , didn't go back till I saw tfw2005 talking about in-hand images of Wheeljack . Freaked for a week until I found my last preorder email in the bottom of my old mail list. My bee has finally arrived. He is sooo tiny.

    Frustrating.
    On my daily e-mailing to them I decide to see what happens if I try creating a new account using the same info... and their website says that I already have an account!

    Well no kidding!
    So simply let me in to pay for shipping on the figure I already payed for.

    On their contact page:
    Getting kinda hard to do so.

    Maybe next week I'll start mentioning PAYPAL resolution services.

    Bellpeppers bro don't worry you should get a reply back by Monday. They only work from Monday to Friday.

    Edit: I've emailed them in the past & have gotten prompt replies.
