    Hello my friends,
I very like the ROTF mold of Optimus Prime and I know there exist many variations of that.

I would like to know the differences of each so I am able to see what I like the most and grab that... Unfortunately I just can't find some detailed comparison pictures... Could someone help?

What is your favourite variation of that ROTF mold and why?

The main ones that are worth your consideration are the leader class mold (or one of the varisnts) or the voyager equivalent which actually does somethings better.

-Hasbro (faceplate, grey colors and blades)
-Hasbro Battle hooks (no faceplate, battle damage and hooks)
-Takara Buster (no faceplate, silver/chromed in all the right places, smokestacks form his blaster)
-Takara Jetpower (Takara Buster with faceplate in 2-pack with Jetfire)
-Takara DOTM Striker (Stealthforce accessories, blasters, Optimus-abs and faceplate, no Buster gun, gunmetal grey/silver colors, no more swords)
-Asia Premium Striker (Striker Prime but with silver instead of gunmetal to look like Buster Prime. I think this one also came with the swords as seperate accessories)
-Supreme Class Jetwing (grey deco, faceplate, but remolded Prime abs, remolded heels and big Jetwing backpack guns/wings. It's also using the Buster mold so you got the gun)
-Amazon Supreme Jetwing (same as the Japan ver., but with different deco on the jetpack)

My favorite is Striker Prime, he's got the best gunmetal colors, and just looks really damn badass. The Asia Premium Striker's really cool too, I must admit, because I really like Buster's deco. I love Buster's gun, though, so if you want a ROTF/07 accurate gun, there ya go.

For a full list, I guess here you go, it has pictures : Optimus Prime (Movie)/toys - Transformers Wiki

Buster and Striker Prime were the most beautiful. Decoed to the nines. Amazon's Jetwing Prime was the best value. I got mine for $50 Christmas of '12, though I have no idea what he's going for now. Highly recommend Reprolabel's set for this outstanding mold if you don't go for Buster or Striker.

Amazon Jetwing prime is a great deal for the money. Not sure how much they are going for these days but I got mine last year for $50 on Black friday. I have seen one in a TRU by me as recently as 2 months ago.

I didn't have Buster, but I had two RotF leader Prime's and the Amazon Jetwing. No QC issues whatsoever with any of them.

I also want ROTF Leader class Prime but didn't know that Striker DOTM Prime is the same figure. Is that correct? I see one on ebay for about $50.

Another vote for Amazon Jetwing. I also got it during Black Friday last year, so obviously the value is a big part of the recommendation. But it's easily one of my all time favorite figures. The jetpack is awesome and I love the deco.

Get the striker version. It works great with the Jetwing pack

Worth stressing is that the basic RotF leader Prime has 3 mold variants that make them incompatible with accessories from the other variants.

Buster variants - main draw is the detachable gas tanks that combine to form a buster but also houses flip out blades inside the forearms. Can not attach Striker weapons in alt mode or secure Jetwing back pack properly in bot mode

Jetwing variants - main draw is the jetwing back pack that required remolded forearms that have clips underneath to secure jetwing cannons. Comes with buster cannon gas tanks. Can not attach Striker weapons in alt mode and bot has no built in blades.

Striker variants - main draw is extensive striker accessory set that is useable in both bot and alt mode. Striker set required remolded gas tanks that stay attached to Prime and serve as the connecting port for striker guns. Gas tanks obstruct jetwing back pack and bot has no built in blades.

Ultimately your best choices for RotF Prime boil down to 3 choices.

Takara Buster Prime for the most accurate RotF Buster Prime (best paint scheme and chromed)
Asian Premium Series Prime for the most accurate DotM Striker Prime (chromed)
Amazon Jetwing Prime for the best overall value

No matter which Prime you go with, you can also go the extra mile with 3rd party add ons such as screen accurate jet packs from Fans Want It or various weapon sets and articulated hands from UFO.
