Personally, the anticipation is killing me. And, about October last year, we had a very accurate list leak of the 2014 Generations. I think we'll have another leak this year, which will inform us who at least some of the remaining deluxe limbs will be. Or, perhaps if Wave 1 hits early, Hasbro does a reveal of its own? Do you agree? Or, do you think we'll have to wait until Toy Fair 2015 to find out the remaining combiners?
If there is a leak, it won't be confirmed by Hasbro. NYCC was the last big "unveiling" show of the year, and I don't think much was revealed between it and SDCC. The first two waves of Combiner Wars will probably take the first three months of 2015 to really saturate retail and so there won't be need for Hasbro to reveal stuff early if coming products aren't on store shelves. +-MWG-+
This year, Hasbro showed over 3/4s of the Generations line and in 2013 darn near the ENTIRE Beast Hunters line at Toy Fair. I don't expect any new reveals short retailer list leaks or factory leaks until Toy Fair in February.
I don't expect anything till at least Toy Fair. Though they've already revealed so much of the Combiner Wars stuff that I wouldn't be too surprised if they saved most of the rest of it for a reeal at Botcon. That said, the wait won't bother me. The whole Combiner Wars thing hasn't caught my interest yet, and I have a feeling the rest of it won't either.
I mostly doubt we'll get an official reveal also, but I think odds are good we'll get a leak of some sort - probably in the form of a listing that's put out before its street date, or a leak on Hasbro's own site akin to last year.
Sure there was a leak last year... but that's the rare exception, not the rule. Perhaps I'm wrong and it's the start of a new pattern, but a leak happening once isn't a lot of evidence to me that a leak will happen again compared to all the times that a leak has not happened.
I doubt we'll hear anything until Toy Fair. I expect they'll announce Bruticus at least. Alpha Bravo is totally bound to be a Vortex repaint and Offroad could easily be repurposed as a Swindle. In my wildest hopes, they'll announce Titan Trypticon too.
I just wanted to bump this thread - we've got rumors of UM and Devastator. No mention of the regular deluxes and voyagers, though. But I think with this information trickle it's only a matter of time.
I really hope there are more leaks as I would die if we got news of a Computron Combiner set that hasn't been revealed yet,he was the single most Awesome Combiner of them all and its time Hasbro showed him some love and release him.But sadly I have to go with the masses and say I doubt any leaks will happen before ToyFair but hope I'm wrong.
Probably not. It would be nice though, but as others have already said, the confirmed reveals would probably be at Toyfair.
I really hope wave 3 brings new moulds and not obvious repaints, although alphabravo looks like blades already. If they retool the prime/motormaster into hotspot & onslaught they're all gonna look very samey.
If previous patterns hold i'd expect the case to be 1 each of Prime and Silverbolt, then 2 Motormasters.
