For improved version of toys we are getting nowadays, do you prefer the colour scheme to be Toy accurate or Cartoon accurate?

It could also mean for custom toy too. Would love to see a toy or cartoon accurate?

All things being equal, cartoon accuracy takes priority.

Aside from maybe Silver/Bluestreak, I can't think of any toys where this is a particular problem where the colors aren't accurate.

Depends on the character. For example, Swoop was a character I grew up with almost entirely in comics (and to be fair neither he nor the rest of the Dinobots had much personality in the cartoon) so I'd want toy/comic accurate colours.

For a character like Broadside, I think the comic (can't remember him in the cartoon) design was far better than the toy, so I'd go that route with him.

With Megs, I'd go for toon accurate over toy.

So yeah, depends entirely on the character for me.

A mix of both. A general cartoon look with toy based details.

Show/comic book accuracy is pretty much my highest priority when selecting a figure.

    Toon accuracy.

...but, I do like the matching deco of the Dinobot toys, which I'm sure is part of why you started this thread. I'll be getting the toon deco over the toy deco for the FT Dinobots.

Didn't we just have a thread like this?

It's a mix for me. For example, I prefer:

    Red Rumble
    Marvel Blaster
    Toon Megatron
    Either head Red Alert
    Black head grapple
Either color Swoop slightly favoring red
    Marvel Nightbeat
    Cartoon Bluestreak
    Cartoon Reflector

I prefer toon accuracy , with nods to the toy mixed in. Hence what the MP line is doing now is perfect. .......oh , an swoop for the win!

I did a poll similar to this question awhile back. I go with cartoon accuracy, its the cartoon that gave the toy its attractiveness. Dare I say, know ones buying an Ironhide or Ratchet if their was no cartoon.

I just want a cool figure. I didn't grow up with G1, so toy or show, it matters not to me.

If it looks cool, I'll probably end up getting it.
