We should have, like, a mascot for the AUS/NZ community. A six changer that goes from robot to emu to kangaroo to platypus to echidna to bogan.

Hey everyone, thanks Syd for the heads up as well as taking the initiative on this. It really has been ages since I've splurged on Transformers or really been able to buy any, but as soon as MP-20 Wheeljack is around that's gonna be a great excuse to catch up on one or two things. Perhaps at least Takara Generations Trailbreaker and Hoist. All that might be through Robot Kingdom, and a tiny POL of Hasbro Legends is almost due to ship, but I'm tempted to hang on for some Deluxes too...

Cheers for the heads up. Will keep an eye on this thread.

On the discussion front, it's going to be nice to finally have non-movie Generations back on local shelves next year!

My TRU doesn't seem to be getting MP Sunstorm in...

I was all set to use my Myer voucher to buy the Breakout Battle set until I saw the price tag. I know that using a voucher I won't lose any real money but I can't bring myself to spend that much.

I did make an Aussie animal combiner (dingo, platypus, koala, echidna and wombat - thinking of having an emu as a rocket backpack of some sort) that I really did to make proper art of (ie not shitty MS Paint). Thought that does kinda leave the Kiwis out of the fun...

Slightly more on topic, I can't remember the last time I actually bought Transformers from non-online sources. That's partly because I've lacked an actual income for a while, but even when I had some cash to spend I utilised BBTS for my sprees (mostly because of price/distribution reasons, but I just love getting a huge-ass box of robits in the mail - it sure made my hospital stay easier).

I think the last local purchase I made where the BH Terrorcons. I'll admit it was actually quite fun being out on the hunt again for toys, hadn't done that since the Armada/Energon days, pretty much all my Generations have been from BBTS and RK (although stopped using RK due to massively increasing shipping to NZ).

I say caw blimey, bloody hell what's all this then. You chazwazzas doing alright then?

I keep forgetting theirs a decent amount of aussies here on tfw. I'm over in Victoria myself. I started doing vid reviews a few months ago, if anyone else besides Odeean has a channel on boobtoob lemme know and I'll subscribe to ya!

As for me, man, where to start. Right now though I mainly focus on classics figure collecting, I have a sizable amount of official n 3p stuff. I go absolutely bonkers for third party figures so I've got quite a lot now as you'd guess from seeing my various photos etc. I pretty much never buy aussie retail anymore because its craptacular, even the prices seem to only just barely be a little cheaper than ordering from Robo or some other site in HK now.

Thanks for the invite, Sydney :)
NSW Bankstown TRU have heaps of the masterpieces, I don't colelct them but I remember seeing sunstorms and prowls. They also had at least 1 FE AOE OP.

Bankstown Centro Target have 3+ metroplexes left; $120? I think it was $120. I'm tempted to get one but only to sell it later when it inflates :p

PS. I only buy and collect bayverse TFs

Also I haven't seen any deluxe drift near here :(  Heard there's some in hurstville tru though.

G'day all. I'm soundwaverulls and I'm a plastic crack addict. Can't get enough of the stuff. All them officials makes it so hard to get your hands on the stuff. So little supplies and they cost so much. OK, I have a problem but teasing me ain't a fair crack of the whip.

Sometimes, I just wanna get on my emu and ride over to the Hasbro coolibah tree and just shout at them "THIS IS A KNIFE!" but I have control. Instead, I just order the foreign stuff. Shipping several together keeps the shipping down, fair dikum.

Sometimes I get off on the stuff so much, I don't have a clue what I'm doing. I might even mix Austalian and drug addict, in a post, for absolutely no reason.

Hey everyone. Dro from the Goldie here. Yeah, bit of a lurker.
Dont wanna be a downer but Aussie retailers got no Aussie Pride. I didnt see one damn Springer on any shelf anywhere. Sucky.

On a brighter note, I suggest our mascot be an autobot bogan, with a mullet, who turns into a HQ Ute. Or a road train. Eeh heheh.

    Hi! :)

*still stuck with Hero-Mashups and...no, just those on the shelves*

    :confused2

...yeah not much to contribute. Retail over here is always half a year behind... We might as well change this to the "Buying toys online" thread. ;)  :lol
