News Credits: 30 | Skyquake is numbered 006 but was released after Magnus (007) and Thundertron (008) I'm inclined to think Skyquake was pushed back, and Thundertron bought forward. FOC Voyagers are less overtly cost-effective...perhaps because the gimmicks are integrated into the toy, rather than an afterthought-like light up weapon. In hand....they're still quite obviously cost effective. |

And yeah, the line-wide gimmick is lousy. DOTM's gimmick was similar, but those weapons were individually matched to character a lot better, and more plausible as actual weapons. I dunno what to do with these clumsy things from the PRID line. Looking up the FOC voyagers, that probably has its own weakness in that they're really pushing the Soundwave mold too much. ![]() | |
