Have voyagers wave two and three even shown up here in Smyths yet?

Last time I checked a Smyths they had about 1 Optimus voyager left on the shelves. Perhaps they will be putting out new stock (Hopefully not more wave 1) soon.

Voyager Dreadwing and Ultra Magnus are the only two figures left from Prime RID that I want.

Scale has always been too much of a challenge to stick with. That's pretty cool if I was more of a Marvel fan. Reminds me of an Iron Giant figure I always meant to pick up
That's a lot of blue for one wave. FOC voyagers seem way more exiting. Ultra Magnus is a must though.

Skyquake is numbered 006 but was released after Magnus (007) and Thundertron (008)

I'm inclined to think Skyquake was pushed back, and Thundertron bought forward.

FOC Voyagers are less overtly cost-effective...perhaps because the gimmicks are integrated into the toy, rather than an afterthought-like light up weapon.

In hand....they're still quite obviously cost effective.

You think they used the same plastic stock on those two to keep costs down?

And yeah, the line-wide gimmick is lousy. DOTM's gimmick was similar, but those weapons were individually matched to character a lot better, and more plausible as actual weapons. I dunno what to do with these clumsy things from the PRID line.

Looking up the FOC voyagers, that probably has its own weakness in that they're really pushing the Soundwave mold too much.

It wouldn't be so bad if they spread things out more. Though somehow that packaging is quite effective at creating the illusion of variety.

Ordered myself that soundwave before I saw the Blaster Oh well guess I'll have to get Blaster and have him beside Soundy in Boombox modes having jam
