I hit every box store in laffy. Other than Snarls and crosshairs repaints it's bone dry, so i spent my money on fat women and deviled eggs.

Found Arcee and Chromia at a comic store called Media Underground in metairie. They had one Chromia, one closed hand and 3 open hand Arcees. I bought one of the open hand ones.

Differences with closed to open hand, the open hand has a "ledge" that prevents the gun from going all the way down.

Anybody looking to buy MP-22 Ultra Magnus from Japan? I have 2 on order from HLJ.com, if you want one we can split the total cost and shipping. Should be less than 140 bucks that way(way cheaper than BBTS or TFSource). Let me know.

Found Brainstorm at Walmart on Bert Kouns and Youree in Shreveport. It was the only one but they have tons of stock boxes. Waiting to find Arcee and Chromia.

Got my Brainstorm from BBTS. A really nice looking figure. If MP22 Magnus does not make it in by Dec 31st, this would be the last TF for the year.

How is the quality, CB? I'm on the fence about the whole show because It should be Rodimus up there in the lead, not BB. BB is the yellow scourge, the lord of all pegwarmers, the fundamental loser of the Autobot team, the definition of "being promoted to one's level of incompetence", and the lingering taint of 'kiddie appeal'.

But hey, if the figs are decent, she'll make a decent IDW Ratchet when I'm done with her.

In her alt form I put her next to generations figs and she looks even more cartoony then prime figs, and she is very boxy. Lots of shoulder kibble too. Transformation was not horribly difficult, they did away with instruction booklets and put them on the back. Plastic quality is ok. I do believe this is the first and last fig I pick up from this line. I'll snap some photos later of her.

I am skipping the entire RID line. I invested heavily in the Prime and BH figures but later sold them all as I was running out of room and they looked out of place in my collection. These look even more so. I am waiting for the combiners to hit soon!!

I found one arcee and chromia at the Manhattan wal mart. I nabbed Arcee for my 9 year old daughter that wanted one for Christmas.
Absolutely nothing at the Barataria wal mart.

I was surprised when I walked up and saw them both hanging there. My little one should be happy now.

RID hit the Toys R Us in Laffy today! Some of them looked craptacular. Got Grimlock and Strongarm. They're several steps below Classics, but better than most of the movie crap. Grimlock's hips are completely open in the back, so his legs will simply fall off in due time. The joint is even open from the front to save literal attocents worth of plastic.

Strongarm is a bit better, but truck mode is a hollow box with no rear wheel clearance. Intrusive back kibble, and a mechanism for pegging the shoulders in place that does not remotely work. Cheapo peg-in tires. Poor paint matching.

So many cost-cutting measures visible, and I picked up the two most solid-looking. These were the equivalent of the deluxe class of course, not the one-step changer crap or the oversized hollow things for catastrophically stupid children.

This show is gonna need some solid writing to save it from being lumped in with the Unicron Trilogy crap.

I just could not bring myself to pick up Grimlock.. Strongarm is ok, I am a bit miffed as to why she has that kind of name though, Moonracer or something would have been better than that.

I just love holiday season. I can buy everything by just clicking my mouse and its generally cheaper than finding them at retail.
I ordered a bunch of deluxes at 7-12 bucks a pop from amazon. Also a ton of SW Black Series figures at 10-15 bucks a figure. Just today I ordered Jabba for 15 bucks and 2 Biker Scouts for 21 each.
