Honestly I just order it off eBay and be smart about it rather spending extra time looking for something that's already hard to get if it's on eBay for the same price or less. I don't mind supporting the group thing at all but this is all about honor system. I've been lucky to bid on some RoTf figures for the same or less value on eBay. if I'm doubt eBay/shop online. if a store carried a bunch of shipment I say we notify the members where and what's included but given the members don't have any scalper or negative red flag characteristics of one. be nice everyone, but remember it's not just scalpers but these are kids toys so if a kid wants it let him have it and just buy yours another time. And to scalpers, kids first, then it's yourself so even as us collectors don't be selfish and hog the last toy. I know it's a early bird gets the worm but the moral remains these are toys for kids. so for me, I don't really buy the last one if theres a kid looking at it. I'll buy something if there's enough batches of the same thing. maybe it's my loss but hey the mentality stays the same, just think of others who would really be happy with it instead of greed
well those waves were not out when target had their sale. The 2 hulks i've had for a while now and i got the cyclops and jean grey i just recently got about three months ago. Actually what i would rather have is if anyone is up for trades for figs i don't have, that would be better. The two hulks on amazon and ebay is averaging about $24.99 a piece, the cyclops about $19.99 and the jean grey i never even see on amazon yet. Ah ok. So essentially you're looking at something over retail that you paid. Even assuming you paid comic shop prices for them...you were complaining about scalpers while scalping. Thanks for the feedback. Glad to see you understand where I'm coming from despite normally using other means besides old school hunting to get what you're looking for. Yes I do order online sometimes as well, but only as an absolute last resort as I've had my fair share of various "issues" in the past. I don't really see any "red flags" with any of the regular posters to be honest, which is why I had high hopes for this "movement" to work out as it has potential to very beneficial for all of us. But overall everyone seems pretty split down the middle which is why I proposed PM only communication first, then move forward to meetups after everyone's gotten better acquainted. Overall, things aren't looking too good so far though (I'm finding the irony of this thread to be quite hilarious), so I might just go ahead and admit defeat, scrap my proposal, and possibly quit the forums all together. I already have enough "real world/grown up" problems to deal with these days; I don't need to add any playground bullshit to the list. As far as the lil jimmys go, yes I do agree that they should come first. Besides being tight on funds at the moment (due to my son's upcoming birthday), the kids are the reason why I stated before that the only thing I don't like about the mainland guys' group mentality is how they wipe out the shelves before everyone else, then bring their stashes to their gatherings to sell/trade. I understand they mean well, but it totally isn't fair to the kids. Even though in my personal experience most kids tend to go after the more common main line stuff because that's the ones more geared towards them in the first place (for example the bazillion versions of Bumblebee within the last few lines), some of them do go for some of the Generations or other old school homage-type figures that Hasbro (or Mattel or whoever for those who collect other things) has "meant for us." Now as far as if there was only one left, I have to admit that I can't guarantee I would bow down if myself or another board member was in need of it. Unless of course the kid was extremely well-mannered and expressed absolute intent on wanting it, then I would graciously hand the figure over and continue the search elsewhere. BUT, if they end up acting like a spoiled punk ass brat and throw a fit about it, then tough shit. I'm sorry to say it 808king as you've been my biggest supporter thus far, but I'm gonna have to agree with NeedMoreBeer on this one. You've really backed yourself into a corner here, and to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. But we don't need to be airing out any more dirty laundry in public, so check your PMs as I do have more to say.
And just like that things have blown out of context again. If you read what I posted I merely put the prices averaging on ebay and amazon. AT NO POINT did i say thats what I wanted to sell it for. So TRU strikes again..... the hookup i had over there was mad when i showed him the ad off of craigslist. So here is the story....I was garaunteed a MP Rodimus however i had to stand in line, apparently there is a way you can reserve toys at TRU. So anyways the only thing was that the guy in front of me reserved 4, which is the whole case. So instead of the person at TRU telling the guy sir you can only reserve 2 or 1 so that everyone has a chance they let him reserve 4. The guy picks it up Thursday when it got on island and now selling it on craigslist for $120. What a guy!!!! I showed my hookup at TRU that and he was MAD. But this is the dumb part instead of making a rule or enforcing a rule because he is one of the main managers there, he tells me he can't do anything about it. I'm like bro its YOUR store correct? he says yes, i say....and aren't TRU in the mainland putting caps on reservations? he goes yes but not all and still said he can't do nothing about it. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! So guys i can assure you that he is trying to get more here on oahu. He claims there is a store in LA that he is trying to get some from that has over 100 in stock so keep your fingers crossed and i will update you as soon as i can. GOOD LUCK HUNTING GUYS!!!

Found Rts grappel lugnut and strafe at pearlridge ross. They have at least three of each. No deluxe or scouts tho.
Also (FINALLY) found a Windcharger at Pearl Highlands this morning before heading to work. There was also one Chopsaw left if anyone's looking for it.
