I have ironhide. Hes got to be one of the best movie toys. Ive seen him here and there the last couple months but have passed because I want to buy other toys but if I get some christmas money this year Im buying another one of him to repaint. Did you see him for that price at kmart? I cant imagine where else hed be that price

Shhh, yeah it was at Kmart. he's been on the shelf for about a month, and I don't like the way his waist attaches with the little post. and the one I bought had a really tight waist, and I feared that my gargantuan strength could not be reigned in and I would break him while transforming him   So I sold him to my brother. But after fiddling with him for awhile last week, I kinda screwed myself over with completism and those whoppin huge guns! still don't wanna pay enough for a scout class just to get him now, when I know that he will be stocked not too long down the line.

 

Haha.. waiting would be a good thing. Which kmart do you shop out? Is there one out your way? I went to kmart last night in provo for the hell of it and saw deluxe figures for the first time ever. Theyve probably had them in the back since the movie came out and just never stocked them. Ironhide is a beast. I think I will transform him right now!!

As for the Ironhide, it was the provo location, just across from the provo town center. They had a bunch of voyagers for a while, and slowly wittled it down to just him, but I cant' justify their price when two days later it will show up at TRU for regular. So if somebody else wants him, knock yourself out.

I gotta get some paints and stuff! then off the races.

 

For the rest of the fans reading...TRU in Orem has restocked the Desert Attack pack of Blackout and Scorpy. There are like 10-12 of em.

Hey fellas good to see the Utah Sightings is active. I haven't checked here forever, but frequent the boards nearly every day. I have loved collecting the movie toys, and after waiting some time to jump in and be a completist on the line, I am only missing Blackout now. I also have collected the Robot Heroes line that my kids love playing with and goes well with my Star Wars Galactic Heroes. I live in Ogden but work in Salt Lake and hit stores regularly, because either me or my kids collect Transformers, Star Wars, Pirates and Cars, so I can help in finding anything you guys might be missing. If you are into collecting different toy lines you should check out a local collectors website http://www.utahtoycollectors.com, we have a big group that does great at helping one another out. I have nearly every Vintage Transformer from series 1 and 2 and have collected the TFC collection re-issues along with the Hasbro re-issues from several years ago. Anyway I hope to make some new friends here who share the same passion that I do about the greatest toys Transformers.

 

Hey Otispq, my wife saw Voyager Thundercracker at Walmart in Syrucuse about a month ago (that store is a goldmine for movie Transformers!). Speaking of which, I went by there tonight and they still had tons of movie deluxes including 2 08' Bumblebee's along with Barricade, Bonecrusher, Dreadwing, Wreckage, Swindle, among others. If anybody still needs an 08' BB I placed him strategically behind the robot replicas for readers of this thread. They had no voyagers or leaders but a bunch of Ultimate BB's, robot replicas, unleashed primes, and a few FAB's.

Haha, lol I'm not sure why you hate it so much, just cuz they rape you on the Transformer pricing, at least hardly anybody shops there. I found Cybertron Primus there on clearance for like $30 back in March or thereabouts. Shopko is the place that really scalps ya. Double price on almost everything.

So why do you hate it so much? Some sort of childhood Code Adam or something? Do tell...

Where is the syracuse wally's, I'm headin up there on Friday night for a lame wedding party, and figure I'm getting toys! I have decided to get an Ironhide to finish off my movie set. All there is after that is repaints n stuff, so since Iheartarcee convinced me to get G1 repaint Starscream, I figure I need to get TCracker as well. Might even get two, Me n Arcee are gonna kitbash somethin serious here before long. So if anybody sees Ironhide or repainted seekers, let me know... 

 

A couple reasons:
Its dirty
I cant find an employee if I have a question
I feel gross touching the carts
Their toys are over priced
They have a crappy electronics department


Ok so those reasons arent enough to want a place to be burned to the ground.. I'm a aware they store the propane tanks outside so my fantasy will not come true, but I still hate that place.

1. no no n0..it just hasn't aged well, that's not dirt, its just the smell of the '70s
2. They have employees?
3. I've never seen them with enough Transformers in stock, worth buying, that required cart useage...get with the program!
4. But the satisfaction that comes with knowing walmart didn't get your money is worth that & so much more. (see no.1)
5. What? they got the latest and greatest, I saw some walkie-talkies that were identical to the ones Sgt. Epps got at the end of the new TF movie. Cant' beat that with a stick.

Oh and I am about to go postal if I don't find Tit G1 UM and Targets lack of help in this regard is unsettling.

 

It's no better than Walmart, though. I saw some woman at a Walmart changing her baby's diaper in one of the carts. And they sell food there!

 

Ya, but the thing about walmart is, the stores and people for every walmart differs. If you go to a walmart in springville or lehi or even lindon, (in utah county at least) the stores are fairly cleaner and the PEOPLE shopping there are cleaner lol.. But every single Kmart I've been in across the country has been as stinky and gross and aggravating to shop at as the next one. Kmart is laying over and dying. They are ready to be done and just waiting for that last blow that will put them out of business.

The best and cleanest Kmart ive ever seen, EVER in my whole life was in Long Beach Mississippi where I grew up. I was right on the beach and right in the path of the eye of Katrina. All that was left was a slab of concrete, and a couple of poles. Now thats a Kmart id like to shop at!!

 

Sounds like a great go-cart track in the making!
