Uhhh, tenor, baritone...well I do play a mean radio, does that count? My home theatre soundsystem has two subwoofers, right behind the couch for extra oomph. So yeah I guess I like the lower tones as well... 

 

So after all is said and done, my PM box is just about overflowing with everybody who wants to get MP SS.  
That just makes me sooo happy that our little Utah thread has people really trying to hook each other up. Maybe one of these days we will have enough people here to actually have some kind of gathering, although we can't call it Utahcon cuz that name sucks and is discriminating to Autobots...

 

I found MP Starscream at Downtown SLC Wal-Mart today and they had 8 on the shelves when I left. I also received reports that Clinton Wal-Mart has some on the shelves today. So anyone up North and in the SLC Valley have options to go and get one.

 

Are you talking about the Walmart on 13th south just off I15? That's the only one I know of in that area... starkaz75 is looking and that is not too far for him to go, I think, so please let us know the address of the Walmart in question. Thanks for the info Luke!

OK, I just picked up MP Starscream in Riverdale. I saw Otispq's post last night and decided to take his advice and call around this morning. I called Layton, Syracuse, and Riverdale WMs and they all said the computer showed him in stock (18 in each store) they just had not put any on the floor yet. I did not call Clinton which is ironic because apparently he is on the shelf there. I had to go to BestBuy today so that is why I decided to go to Riverdale and he was still not on the shelf so I asked a lady about him and it was the same lady I talked to this morning. She walked me right over to him not even out of the case yet. If anybody is still looking there apears to be plenty of him to go around at least today in the northern Davis county area.

 

it seems as though when I said earlier that they didn't have any dedicated shelf space for him yet, that they might not be actually shelf stocking him, so be advised to not take no for an answer folks!

 

Downtown Wal-Mart is just off the freeway at 13th south and 300 west.

 

So it turns out that since they don't have a dedicated space on the shelf, the stockers just return SS to the back room. After and hour and a half at the AF Wallys tonight I had the manager rooting around in the back trying to get some for me, as I was trying to help starkaz75 to get one. So if you call your local store and they have it in stock but you don't see a shelf space for it, you are almost for sure going to have to get someone to search the pallets/stockroom for you. The manager took my name and phone number and is going to pull a case (of 3 toys) for me and leave it with customer service for me to get saturday. If this does happen starkaz75 has dibs on one of them and the rest I'm happy to hook up fellow board members with. stay tuned and I'll let ya'll know as soon as I find out...

Yay! I finally found a Masterpiece Screamer at the Walmart downtown! Thanks for the tip, Luke Skywalker! They've still got 10 left. 6 of them are on a display in front of the toy section, and 4 more are on a shelf on the back wall where the rest of the Transformers reside.

I wanna send props to Otispq for helping me find one, too. He's the man!!!

just glad to see our little band makin things happen. I have been all over the california thread lately and others. they talk about trying to help each other out and defeat the scalpers, but don't get much success. I think we are on the right track here. Utah TransformerWorld Fans Rock

Plus we have the only Purell pooping Prime in the whole universe!  

 

So, after transforming him once to jet, I must say he looks pretty sweet. My only gripe so far is that his rear landing gear are crap. They don't stay open, and they just collapse under his weight. I like how well everything seems to fit together. Much easier to transform than the Death Star!

 

I'm glad starkaz75 got his SS last night. The AF Wallys stockroom manager called me at 2 A.M. to let me know that they were done pulling stock from the back room, but there was still over 10 million dollars worth of product to pull and the next crew would look for me. I went in today and it is pretty amazing just how much stuff they have in that backroom, and how much comes in every day. Working there for the holiday season must really suck. He's got my info and will keep me informed. I am hoping that by taking the time to work with these guys now is such that it will lead to easier hunting later. I don't know about the rest of you guys, but those toys coming out with the animated show next spring, well I don't want a repeat of this summer and 08 Bumblebee. What a fiasco.

Just found out about the Utah sightings thread and thought I would join in. Yesterday I went to the Payson Wal-mart and they had about 20 or so MP Starscreams. I was so happy I finally found one. I had been checking Orem and Lindon Wal-marts all week with no luck. Here are two quick pics I took of him.
