Hey guys, I have a quick question... I haven't been collecting lately since I lost my job, but I was at TRU today in Overland Park and they had Combiner Wars Legends figures for $13 (what?), Deluxes for $20 (seriously... wtf?!?!), and Voyagers for $25. Are those prices about what you are seeing in stores near you? The Legends seem a little high, but those Deluxe prices seem crazy to me! They did have RID Warriors on sale for $12 or $13, and Kre-o sets were all at least $5 off, some were $10 off, and the big GI Joe one was like $40 off.
The few stores I've been to recently, don't seem to be carrying CW figures anymore. Might want to try the Walmart on roeland ave. I could swing by it tomorrow and check if you want. They don't seem to go through stock too quickly, and a month ago, they had a ton of deluxes.
I was at Target on Ward Parkway tonight (just over State Line, this counts, I swear!) in KC and they have one Leader Thundercracker, Leader Megatron and Armada Megatron, and the newest (I think) CW deluxes with the comic books: one each of Sunstreaker, Mirage, Ironhide, and Prowl. They also have Legend Rodimus, the motorcycle (Groove?), and two Voyager Silverbolt. I don't follow RID, but they had Drift and Sideswipe three step changers, and two activator/shooter guys, one was a purple Decepticon that is not Shockwave, and the other was a black car, I think? They had one leader Grimlock from AOE, and a few of the Target exclusive AOE deluxe/voyagers. Sorry for the vague update, I can't collect now since I'm unemployed at the moment.
Not sure if this has been mentioned on here but I thought I'd share that the toys r us in Olathe has masterpiece bluestreak in stock. Was hoping to come across a Devastator but wound up with bluestreak so I'm content.
Quick KC update: Target on Ward Parkway has two Ultra Magnus on the shelves! First time I've seen him here. They also have two Cyclonus and two Hot Spot! There are zero CW deluxes, FOUR Groove, one Rodimus. They also had three Armada Megatrons, a pile of Sideswipe and another RID three step changer (voyager size), and some of those minicon discs.
Ward Parkway Target in KC has CW Ironhide (x2), Sunstreaker (x2), and Prowl deluxes. Only two Voyagers: Battle Core Optimus Prime and Cyclonus. Two Leaders: the omnipresent Armada Megatron and Thundercracker. There were also only two Legends: Rodimus and Blackjack. There were a bunch of the same old RID guys, I don't collect them but I remember a bunch of minicons and a gold chest Grimlock deluxe ("warrior?) on clearance for $10.
