Dude there was prolly 10 Arcees. I saw three Long Hauls too. Papio Walmart had a few. I'm gonna cruise around to the others tomorrow.....to continue my never ending trek for an ice cream truck. Post or PM me if you get em. If not, I can try and hide em for you if they're all out there and I come across some more. I owe you one anyway.
Found two LEADER JETFIRES at Oakview TRU. I scooped one and hid the other behind the bikes directly underneath the leader figs at the front of the store right as you walk in. ONE left. HURRY UP!!!
Got my Long Haul at the 72nd (between Center and Pacific) WalMart. They had TONS of them. Lots of Grindors, too. And in addition to what was literally falling off the shelves in the three places they had them stocked, I saw at least 5-6 cases of Voyagers on the carts they had out stocking. Also had lots of Swerves and Arcees. Waited on those as money is kind of tight, but I had to have my Long Haul. Hope I can scoop the others up when I get paid Wednesday. Glad you found him. He's beautiful! Gonna pick me up another one here when I have some more cash to drop as I combined mine with my Leader Prime and now can't bring myself to part them. Heheh. Want another Leader Jetfire and the Buster Prime (if I can get him for a reasonable price). Has anyone seen any Ejectors? I honestly had forgotten he was out as I don't really collect scouts that much, but I do want him. If anyone sees one, hide him for me. Unless he's rampant and I just haven't noticed.
He's great. And his alt mode is massive. Even with the kibble on his underside, I'm impressed. Thanks for the temptation. Now I'm going to be curious as to what gets put out at that Walmart. I haven't seen any Ejectors. I actually didn't know he was out. If I see one I'll hide it and letcha know.
Rusty......I went grocery shopping at the 72nd Walmart. I found two Ejectors. Got one of em, and I hid the other in the rack of ROTF figs that is seperatefrom the isle. I put it in the 3rd or 4 the row of scouts. I can't remember which now. In the back of the row.
Rusty, just wanted to say thanks for helping me find my Grindor. Just got him today after work since that Walmart is right by my work. I was waiting for somone to find him, and what better place than the 72 Walmart that I hate! I will see how cool Leader Jetfire is tomorrow since he will arrive at my house by UPS. Wanted Leader Jetfire the most for a long time so I had to order him. Can anyone please tell me when Leader Buster Optimus Prime will be available and where I can buy him?
Yeah, I hear ya. Not a big fan of that WalMart (or for that fact, nearly any WalMart), but they do stock pretty good when it comes to Transformers. Passed on Grindor myself for now. Not a big fan of repaints and didn't like the fact that in the movie they didn't just keep him Blackout. Hope you have fun with Jetfire. I had a blast with mine before combining him with Prime. Though the combination (if tweaked from the instructions they provide) is really nice to display. Just try not to get too frustrated when combining them. I ended up having to look up a vid on YouTube to get it done correctly. As far as Buster Prime, for now it's looking like overseas only release. I've been seeing prices of around $80-$90 for him, but that's before shipping. I'm REALLY hoping Hasbro picks him up and just releases him as a Premium. Though I'm getting nervous of the prices on him going up and THEN finding out that Hasbro isn't going to do it. Oh well, we'll see.
Walmart 168th and Maple has four Longhauls and four Grindors. I'm still on the fence about getting Grindor. There still might be one Arcee left.
Has ANYBODY seen the Ice Cream truck around? I thought Jetfire was turning into my current Holy Grail, I never thought I would come across him first.
Only place I have seen them is at the 125th & L Target I bought mine at. I know they've been at other Target's, though. Seen lots of Blazemasters and Dead Ends around which ship in the same case.
Same here. Only Target at the 72nd and Dodge location where I bought one with one left over. If I ever see the twins anywhere I will be sure to hide them and let you know U.Magnus80. I didn't think they were going to be htf toys.
The only good Walmart is my favorite one located at 71st and Giles. I wanted Grindor a lot because I like playing him in the Xbox 360 Transformers ROTF game. I never did get a Blackout, which has a cooler paint job, and they should have kept him as Blackout so Grindor wouldn't have ended up being a clone. The Optimus Prime and Jetfire combo is awesome! I too had to look up a youtube video to figure it out. Really nice and I also will probably keep them combined. My favorite Transformers toy now! Heres hoping Leader Buster Optimus Prime does get released as a Premium then. Those prices are ridiculous! I would like to get him, but I don't want to spend that much money.
I wanted to wait for Buster Prime, but you guys got me itchin to just get the current leader Prime just to do the combo now that I've got Jetfire. Thanks for costin me 45 bucks guys!! thanks for the tips with the twins and in advance for any help you can give in obtaining one. Am I ignorant? What's the next wave of rotf figs? P.S. Don't discount the Bellevue Walmart and target. They usually have a lot of figs inmore than one location. Specially the 370 target.
Yeah, those are just kind of out of the way for me. Personally I think I'm done with the movie figures. Already spent more on them than I said I was going to. Heheh. If I can get a Buster Prime for a decent price I will drop on him and I still would like another Leader Jetfire to display by himself. But other than that I don't think I have anything else I really want. Though if I find a nice clearance price on a Devestator I might grab that as well. I even ended up passing on Arcee. Might even sell some of what I got now eventually. Then again I said I wasn't going to get Jolt and there he sits on my shelf. He is very nice, though. After getting my Comic Con Soundwave and loving him more than sex I think I might concentrate now on collecting some Encores and re-issues. Would be nice to get all the old stuff I had when I was a kid in new condition. But I'll still let you guys know if I see anything you are looking for.
I love heem. I would say I have messed around with Long Haul more than any of the other bots from this movie line. My girlfriend has taken to teasing me about how much time I spend playing with him like a little kid. Heheh. Though I was a HUGE fan of the design when I first saw it. Thought he was too skinny when I first saw pics of the toy, but you can totally pose him in a way that gives him the proper bulk. That is what I would say mainly about him, though. Give him your own flair because the way you are "supposed" to have him in bot mode, he is too skinny compared to his true movie design. But hell, you could say that about nearly half of the movie toys. So yeah, my personal opinion is that he is very, very cool and he would never be one that I would consider parting with if I did decide to start selling off part of my collection. Love his swords.
I got Long Haul and I concur. He looks great in both modes. Has anyone seen the HA Mudflap around yet?
Ice Cream Twins and Jolts galore at Target in Papio and 132nd and Maple. Maple even has a Jetfire. I got the twins and now I'm finally satisfied. Not sure yet about Jolt. His legs kinds bug me. Maybe The pic doesn't do it justice.
