well. Sorry to bring bad news so quickly... I went back to walmart yesterday and they only had one lockdown and i though i saw a ratchet but i didn't think so, anyway, if you want lockdown, i put him behind the discounted deluxe twopacks with blowpipe and sideways. I guess whoever gets there first gets it, idk if any of you have gotten what you wanted from this wave yet. Good luck and happy hunting.
Irvington Walmart has some of the new wave. Saw at least one of each. 132nd Target has an HA Barricade and a couple Mindwipes too. If anyone sees a Scout Scattorshot, please lemme know.
They had that whole wave of Scouts the other day at 180th & Center WalMart. I posted about it when the whole clearance discussion was happening. I only picked up Skystalker (BADASS Scout!) since I was blowing around $200 on other clearance crap and figured I would see them again. There were 2-3 of each when I was there.
Yeah. I saw you posted that. I managed to find a Skystalker and a Dive bomb at the Papio WM. I didn't venture out as far as 180th. I'll check it out tomorrow.
Seems Mindwipe is being swiped up like the other new wave Deluxe's minus Bumblebee. Seeing a LOT of Defender Optimus Prime's around town. Finally found a Mindwipe for myself at the 72nd & Dodge Target. But I hit 132nd & Maple about an hour and a half after you posted about seeing them there and they were gone. Hopefully we don't have a scalper browsing our boards though it wouldn't surprise me. Slimy bastards.
I sure hope not. Would be kinda crappy tryin to help decent people find stuff and havin some jerk takin that info to grab the stuff from under us. Im gonna make a couple stops out west before I head home to Bellevue, so if I see sumthn I'll letcha guys know.
Don't think anyone else is interested but just in case, the WalMart on 72nd near Pacific has Legends Arcee, Jolt, Wheelie and Soundwave. I was a very happy little boy to finally get Wheelie and Soundwave!
I picked up Wheelie right after Christmas. (I think TRU had em out before they were supposed to) and he's great. Oneof the best Legends figs IMO. Curious about Arcee though. May have to get that one.
Jolt is pretty much a straight forward Legends car. Wish they could have slid some whips in there somehow. Wouldn't have been too hard and would have really pushed it from being kinda "meh" to "wow". Arcee is fun. But you have to be on board with her initial design to appreciate her. Kind of a bitch to get her to stand up, though. Gotta get the balance just right. LOVE Soundwave. Love Wheelie. Both of those are aces. So glad I don't have to order that set from HTS to get them as I have no use for the Prime and Sideswipe repaints.
Target on 169 & Maple had 3 Mindwipes. They didn't have any new deluxes (Brawn, Ratchet, etc) or scouts (Skystalker, Sonar, etc). I'm still waiting for 75% off of the Transformers and GI Joe exclusives.
Council Bluffs Walmart has the new Scouts. I scooped one Scattorshot. There's one left and all the others......actually, I didn't see a Skystalker, but I was only looking for Scattorshot, so I didn't really sift through all of em. CB TRU has one Shadow Command Megatron, If anybody wants to pay the $45 they're asking. I wasn't. He looks really good in person though IMO. If Walmart gets em at the $35, I'll finally pick up a movie Megs. Maybe. I also found a Universe Hot Shot at the Papio WM. Musta just been sitting in the back lost. I picked it up just because I couldn't believe it was there. I've seen a couple of Movie 1 deluxes popping up too. Keep your eyes peeled.
LMAO! I would have shat if I had seen that Hot Shot. I passed on him so many times but that's how hard up for Classics stuff I am that I would have bought him in a heartbeat if I had seen him. BRING ON GENERATIONS!
Oh, I can't wait for Generations. I'm hoping they re-release some of the Uni/Classics stuff I missed out on. And Thrust. I'm sooo glad I didn't go for a Henkei.
Yeah, I nearly pulled the trigger on the Henkei seekers a few months back. Was doing the happy dance after hearing that Thrust news last weekend. And hearing that they are planning on doing the other seekers as well? Bad ass! I also would love to see them repackage some of the earlier Classics stuff like Bee, Cliffjumper and Mirage. Anyone else gonna be going after a Grimlock when he hits TRU? I'm all over that thing!
Oh yeah. And knowing it's a TRU exclusive, means that 3 months later I won't be kicking my own ass when it's half price on clearance, like Skywarp.
As we're both TF fans, I'm glad to hear that you were able to snag the Supreme Devastator. If it wasn't for you guys here on the board, I wouldn't have picked up the Legends Devastator. It has disappeared from the shelves of the Walmart stores in Omaha.
I know this is a Transformers only deal but surely you guys collect other lines. Anyone need help tracking down some DCUC because I could sure as hell could use the help, lol.
