Have a Toyworld near you? I've hit a few in regional Vic in the past few weeks and they have all had good Combiner Wars and RiD stock Didn't realize I was replying to a two week old post, oops.
New Pre-Order's just up at J2OZtoys The next wave of Transformers Combiner Wars has just been announced for an April/May release. Highlight of this wave is the full set of Protectobots being released at the same time. Hot Spot, Blades, First Aid, Streetwise, Rook and Groove, form the Autobot combiner Defensor. Also being release is Voyager Cyclonus and Legend Warpath and Decepticon Viper. Voyager Class - $40 Deluxe Class - $24 Legend Class - $16
all good. yeah sadly my toyworld closed down about 2 years ago or so.. :-( so no longer an option for me... so I just have to wait it out or spend like 80 bucks in petrol to go somewhere that does have more stores and better stocked ones...
Try J2OZ, I haven't yet because I found the toys in Toyworld but a friend in a similar situation to you used them and he was really pleased with them.
Big W in Lilydale has a lot of Transformers toys discounted. The movie deluxes were down to $20 and most of the other older toys were also reduced. Guess they're clearing space for new stuff.

seen today target had the 3 step bbee and grimlock today 39 bucks each had 2 of each figure when I was there. but sadly still haven't seen any leader megs in my stores yet... :-(
target had a lot of new rid figures in when went in today had the warrior?(deluxe), the one step, the really small ones (legion?) and the previous mentioned 3 step. also they have 20% off all toys for school holidays so transformers included but just be careful because the warrior class toys weren't scanning with the 20% off so just check them before u take to register unless they fix them soon staff were happy to take them down in price for me tho
went to Melbourne for Supanova on sunday and then went to highpoint shopping centre afterwards went into toyworld there and they had wave 2 of the deluxes! so I got myself an air raid to finish off my superion didn't get the rest cause ran out of money... :-( they were also the ones with the comics as well
Generations Toys have now shown up at BigW stores, with Wave 2 Deluxes. Plus, ToysRUs exclusive JP Movie Stinger toy is now out as well, for $30.
went into my big w today they only had the legends size cw figures but had all the wave 1 rid stuff. also kmart had the wave 1 deluxe cw and rid figures
went back into big w today they had the wave 2 cw deluxes now so picked up all the stunticons just waiting on motormaster to hit shelves now
not sure how many are interested but in big w new party section they have a heap of transformers related products party favours, cups, napkins, party games, etc. to much to list but lots of cool stuff if u have a little tf fan or even for just the big tf fans ;-)
Target Doncaster had the next wave of Prime Warrior-class toys (Drift & Optimus Prime) as well as the Deployers (Fracture & Drift).
Motormaster Motormaster has finally been found at Aussie retail. The wave 4 legends have also shown up.
Myers TTP had quite a few YOTG(?) Soundwaves and Platinum coneheads, $300 and $200 respectively. Hoping they'll go down as much as last years exclusives.
