Hi all, I'm coming to Sydney and Brisbane for three weeks. What are the chances that Australia will see the Generations wave of Kup, Scourge, Wheeljack and Thundercracker? (They're not being released over here at retail.) Excited to know you guys have PCC waves 4 and 5, they are "in limbo" over here and may not see retail, either. Thanks.
I think our chances are good for the rest of the Generations waves to be released here, and I would hope that it will be soon, as it has been 4 months since the last Gen wave was released here. When you get here, check out our sightings section with particular attention to the topics titled - NSW (for Sydney), QLD (for Brisbane) and First Sightings. Google can then help you find the stores that have something you want.
Found at Woolworths are the PCC 2-packs Wave 4 (Skyhammer, Heavytread) and Wave 5 (Salvage, Undertow). They are also said to be stocking soon the Wave 4 of the 5-packs (Dinobots, Constructicons) so keep an eye out for them as well. Deep Dive, the last RtS Voyager, is being found at Target stores.
new in aussie i recently moved here to brisbane when i got married ....she loves my tf collection .....so i was wondering..vs. usa ...are we getting the movie stuff on may 16 like my preview prime box has listed (it was got in america) and has any one seen the generations warpath yet? thats all i need ...then its movie stuff there on i guess....altho i must say deluxe and heck all the tf stuff is expensive here! no offense guys
yeah its not fair everythings expensive here and no we still have not seen warpath or any rts i believe except ur inluck we do have rts legends and scouts unlike america
I have seen RTS Jaz and Tracks along with Perceptor, Wreck-gar, Lazer Prime and BB. Mainly at Targets. The Jaz+Tracks were only 2 each. I think that the volmes are quite low because retailers are holding the space for DOTM. My local TRU burned down so its been a while since I checked there. If they are fixed up I am going to have a look for some final wave stuff Tomorrow.
Yep, Australia and NZ are expensive for the exact same product that US and HK gets from Hasbro for about half our price. Other countries get different production runs/packaging, so costs vary for them. A busy news day in Australia today... First DotM toys found in an AUS retail store (Toyworld in QLD), but only gimmick figures - Activators & Gobots. TRU have launched a competition for DotM through their website to win toys and Movie tickets. TRU also have a pre-release launch event on May 14th in Melbourne. Fishpond online store is giving away a Gold 2007 Movie Optimus toy. TRU website updated with DotM theme and product prices. And the bad news - The last five Generations toys are not going to be easy to find in Australia now that most retailers aren't stocking them anymore.
Toys R us at kotara (newcastle) has leader DOTM sentinel and bumblebee and several of the voyagers. They have some other misc bits and pieces from the line but nothing terribly exciting. I went in in the vain hop[e thyd have MP Rodimus, Leader Sentinel was a welcome addition to the collection instead.

Hey guys, Another DOTM sighting found. This has already been posted on OTCA First wave is now available at BIG W in geelong CBD, from legends through to leader class figures. Plenty in stock... especially if your after a bumblebee deluxes are starting at 23.40 i believe. Happy hunting guys.
Final Five Gen toys (Warpath, Scourge, Thundercracker, Kup, Wheeljack) are now being found at Kmarts - but be quick, as they are being snapped up within hours of being shelved and sighted. And various BigW, Kmart, Toyworld and Target stores are selling their DotM stock as soon as they get it. Looks like TRU are the only major chain to refuse to sell theirs until the allowed date.
mr. toys in chermside in westfield has officially released the dark of the moon toys as of yeterday about 4:30 pm every class available....picked up mine all at the same time ye this does include shockwave and sentiniel prime . they are going fast!! come on wave 2!!!!
