Hows the prices for the Cybertron stuff? Popped into Kmart in Kardinya (Perth) and saw bits and pieces, although the Leader price threw Me half way across the floor. Is TRU any better or worse in prices?

Good thing about now, with it being July, Target and Kmart should be doing their 'great toy sales' which means, much laybying and keeping them til Dec grins*

I thought I would never see the day when the leading elite toy store would actually have the more reasonable prices compared to Kmart and Target....

Ill have to keep that in mind, although Im holding out til these great toy sales pop up, as the 6 months layby is a blessing and they tend to drop the price down a few dollars to encourage sales. Heh, IIRC, thats how I snagged most of My Energon stuff.

Popped into Target the other day, MP Magnus was there for $150 (not bad at all, nice box as well).

Cybertron was retailing for $26 for the Deluxe range and $90 for the Leader class. So Target is proving to be alot better for the Leader class than Kmart is, although the link in Soundwarp's siggie is still a darn good deal! Popping into TRU today to see whats on the Perth side.

Target, Bullcreek (Perth) had 3 MP Magnus' when I was there.

Not sure what the other side of Aus is like, but Kmart is doing a lil 'toy sale'. Leader class as set at $20 (although Im still going GF from Soundwarp's Siggie haha), Scouts were $17 and Deluxe were $22 (IIRC). Still interesting in seeing what happens at Target.

For the Aus crew anyway, is everyone sticking to Cybertron? Or Galaxy Force? For some reason Im going to try and go the all GF route (despite the increased prices) but Im tempted to still get the Cybertron Scout and Deluxes as some threads seem to indicate little or no changes between GF and Cybertron. Be interested to see what the other Aus crew are thinking.

Popped into TRU Perth, found out that they have a lil offer thing going. Buy a Leader class get a scout free! Leaders are running at $80, but will probably run for $90 as a standard retail price. Ultra was running at $50 (from $55). Scouts, Deluxe's and Voyager were selling at $15, $24 and $40. Alts wise, there was Jazz in like, the dozens x 3. Picked one up (naturally) for a great price of $25. I wonder if this means Alts are dropping in prices, let alone if the rest will start getting slowly pumped into TRU. As I havent seen a better price than $25 for an Alt.

Popped into one of those 'hobby' stores for the GF range, prices varied alot, and I was hard pressed between the shop and the Transfigure store. Suffice to say, I still picked myself up Autolander! So today, I ran away with Alt Jazz and Autolander. :D  Probably going to whack into Kmart tomorrow, get a Megatron on layby (like the Cybtertron colors than the GF one) and grab Hardtop since I doubt Ill see it in the GF range.

Now if only this was a cheaper thing to do *groans*

    *EDIT*
Picked up Hardtop today, and put Cybertron Megatron and Jetfire on layby. Man My wallet hates Me so much now.

    *Second Edit*
Placed Overhaul, Jolt/Reverb/Sixspeed, Landmine and Scattershot on layby today. Thank goodness for Christmas layby, so the wallet doesnt hate me AS much. They will probably be the last stuff from the Cybertron range that Ill get, the rest will be done via Galaxy Force, as half the figures I like without the allegience insignia.

Err, that would be a no. No alterntors. No g1 reissues. and most importantly no cybertron.

Nothing much over here. Put a MP Magnus on layby the other week and picked up My Alt Dead End Layby, Atl Silverstreak from TRU and GF Skids. Saw GF First Aid, but thats about it for major sitings in Perth.

Thinking of doing a splurge to try and get the Energon combiners as I feel disappointed that I didnt pick them up earlier. Mainly more for the combined mode, but ehh, oh well. Just wish finding the limbs wasnt such of a pain :banghead:

Made a trip to the Independent Toy/Comic store. To My surprise, a nice combo of old and new GF toys. Soo, I grabbed Myself GF Star Scream and whacked GF Vector Prime on Layby (man, the colors look so much better than the Cyb colors). I managed to see the Vanguard team members (pretty impressive), red 'ramble', roadstorm and chromia. Also saw the BTs up to Prowl (both variants). Not too bad, the only downside was the price tags on half the stuff. So if You use transfigure toys for your TF supplies, you should be in good standing.

is there a reason for brissie being dearer as the prices i quote are nsw prices
even loc cybertron figures are $5.00 at big w and universe micromaster devestaor or railbots go for $5.00 each at k-mart
all cybertron leader go way less then $100.00 most go for $85.00 and ultra figures like jetfire go for $49.00 and mp magnus as i say is only $139.95

I was surprised with the Cybertron LOC range, as I saw them at TRU and instead of seeing them at $10 per pop (which was My best guess), their true price was closer to $5. Cant say Ive seen the cheap Alts, but Im not sure of which number is what anymore haha.

A few years ago, when I'd compare prices with Weewoo, I worked out Brisbane prices were cheaper on the whole than NSW. But it depends where you shop.

Oh, and for the record? There's currently 1 Starscream left on shelves in Queen St Mall Mr Toys. I've got the other one on laybuy. Still no wave 2 deluxes anywhere, though.
