I expect I'll do that with Wreck-Gar and the Sharkticons, because I prefer to walk into a shop and buy things off a shelf. But I won't be able to do that with Slag. Kmart here has never carried carried leaders (except that Netflix Magnus pack), Target did a couple for Siege, and then a couple for Earthrise (and has not stocked any Studio Series leaders), and BigW, which previously did stock leaders routinely, has started to become just as unreliable as Target. I've had to turn to places like Toyworld online for Earthrise Magnus, or (hack, spit) Amazon for Galvatron, so knowing of another online option is good. Also, I was sure that the name had been changed back to Slag for this toy...
I went to Macquarie centre Big W to find Rodimus only to find that scalpers have taken them all and to add insult to injury, they had one in the storeroom but it's on hold for another buyer. And now scalpers are selling him for a whopping $312 Aud on Ebay And they were sighted there last night too *Swears in Aussie* Well I'm having my bro check the store again next week, and if he's still not there then I may have to resort to preordering him off amazon and wait 2 more months or just cave in and buy one off Ebay for said whopping $312 bucks
Was in my local Big W today and they had 26.. that's right...26 Kingdom Rodimus figures on a table in the aisle. So can confirm sighting Browns Plains QLD. Shame I already preordered but then again I got 20% discount so all good I'd go for the Amazon option unless you don't like using your CC online. Also just type in Kingdom Rodimus in google and check Australia only and you should find quite a few online stores that have him for preorder at way under eBay scalper pricing. Just have to wait a few more months before the figure will come in is all
Oh you don't have to worry about that, I actually went to the Transformers Collectors Club Australia Facebook page and someone had reserved me a copy at Big W Bankstown so I pretty much took the train and back to pick him up
