Well I think I spoke too soon. Today on my lunch break I stopped by Wal-Mart and found the Animated two pack of Jet Fire and Jet Storm, and then on the way home I stopped at Target and found Universe Inferno, Dinobot, and Smokescreen. I bought all the figures and I have to say that Inferno is one bad ass figure, I also love the paint scheme on Smokescreen (a great repaint).

 

No way! I live in Reno and they have NOTHING. I've been checking for weeks for those universe figs! Which store did you go to?

 

For the Animated two pack I found that at the Damonte Ranch Wal-Mart, there was only one and that's the one I bought. The Target I stopped at was the one in South Reno, just South of the Meadow wood mall. They had one more Dinobot and one more Inferno (as of last night around 6:30). I grabbed the only Smokescreen they had at the Target. It was really just luck that I found everything I did. I figured I'd kill some time last night coming home from work and considering how people in Reno panic when it rains (there was bound to be traffic and there was). It was a worthwhile stop.

 

Hmm.. That's the Wal-Mart I go to all the time, and I also saw the JJ pack... BUt what bothers me is that all they have in the way of Universe is Ironhide and Sideswipe. ><

 

i picked up dinobot and smokescreen the other day at retail ct walmart.

now i wait for wreck-gar.

oh yeah, any of you reno guys know if movie voyager thundercracker is still at the damonte ranch walmart?

 

I can take a look next time I'm there. That's the Wal-Mart closest to where I work.

Stopped by on lunch yesterday and didn't see him. I didn't have a lot of time to search so there might be a good chance someone picked it up and left it somewhere else. I'll probably be stopping by again on Friday before I head up to Seattle for work this weekend. I'll let you know if I find anything.

 

Went grocery shopping last night and because I have all the Formers that I currently want, I didn't think I would stop by the toys, but I did. I honestly found the weirdest thing, an Energon Scorpanok, new in box. The box was a little beat up, but go figure it was Wal-Mart and the figure was a couple years old. I rang up for about $25, so I bought it and have yet to open it. It was the weirdest find. It's like being at a toy liquidators and finding an old treasure like this. I'll take a pic and post it in this page.

 

picked up legends brawn today. there was one 25th anniversary optimus at retail ct walmart, still priced at $69. some of the california hunters have found him for SEVEN DOLLARS. so i will bide my time.

i did get wreck-gar at jacks valley rd target last week. now i'm waiting on waspinator and mighty muggs megatron and soundwave. the rest of my money is being saved for when i go to san jose in april, i will be hitting my favourite toy store so hard.

and my grandmother is getting me mp megatron. unce unce unce. i can't wait for april.

I'm coming to Vegas for a convention tomorrow. Any good places I should hit for Animated guys? We just got Safeguard here in Ontario, but no Blurr, Swindle, Waspinator, Sam Prowl or Wreck Gar yet.   Help a plasticrackhead out?  

 

Saw Inferno and Overload at the DR Wal Mart yesterday... along with a FRIGGEN load of Blazing, Lockdowns, Blurrs, and Swindles. >< They're starting to piss me off. That's basically ALL Walmart and Target have in the way of deluxes.

 

picked up inferno on a whim last week at retail ct walmart. his box was really smooshed, so i got a decent discount on him.

also received wst prowl, g1 bombshell, hoc cyclonus and movie bonecrusher last week. waiting on wst thrust and mp starscream.

bonecrusher is my new work buddy with revoltech screamer. bonecrusher hates my coworkers. and customers. but he especially hates anyone who says he's "cute".

and i've been thinking, a reno area meetup would be awesome.

 

Found Animated Waspinator and Samurai Prowl at S. Virginia Target tonight. I picked them both up. They also had Animated Road Buster Ultra Magnus, I passed on him because I already have the regular UM, didn't need another UM.

 

got waspinator at jacks valley rd target. last one there.

there was another at retail ct walmart, but no samurai prowl to be seen.

anyone seen the mighty muggs anywhere?

 

The only place that I have found the TF Mighty Muggs are at Toys R Us here in Reno. I found them about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I bought all 4 they had out (Prime, Megs, Soundwave, and Bumbles). I stopped by today after work and they only had Soundwave and Bumbles, but my bet is they'll put a new set out next week because they have restocked those MM each week I've stopped by.

 

Not a sighting, but yesterday I received my Disney Label Transformers from BBTS. A pretty awesome figure, great paint all around and a clever design. There really isn't much articulation, but this is a showcase piece. I'll definitely be getting the black.grey version when it comes out. Right now I'm contemplating Alternity Convoy. I'm think I'll just order the red version, possibly black as well and then a silver Megs.

Nothing new in the Reno area. Just waiting for those Target exclusive Animated figures and possibly that TRU Darkwind. I never bought that other mold (Silverbolt?) but I'm digging that Decepticon paint job. Also, those Target exclusive combiner sets still haven't popped up here but I never really wanted those.

 

Stopped by both Targets here in Reno today to check and see if they had those Animated exclusives that showed up in Ohio...well, they weren't there  . S. Reno Target did have Universe Leo Prime x1 and Inferno x2, the new Target in Sparks had the TF MM, this is the first place other than TRU that I have seen these

 

nothing new at topsy ln. walmart. i figured it was too early to look at target, so i may save the target ones for when i go to san jose.

did pick up BLUEstreak at walmart though. i'd been looking for him. now all i need is ratchet and i'm good for now...

...that is until next payday when i get mp thundercracker. mp screamer should be here tomorrow or saturday, mp skywarp is coming on monday. hooray for seekers.

 

Has Universe Vector Prime been released yet? I've seen it on HTS but not in store. I thought it was supposed to be out when Inferno hit and he's been floating around since the early part of the year.

Nothing new in Reno, what's it like in Carson?

Has anyone in the Reno or Carson area seen Universe Ratchet or Hotshot? I'm really only interested in Ratchet, but Hotshot might change my mind if I see him in person.
