Swung by 53rd Wal-Mart this morning after dropping off a timesheet and found three Legends Devastators. Took every ounce of my body NOT to buy one, and I'm waiting until this weekend
Holy buckets! I gotta get up there and get me one of those. Stupid having a day job... EDIT: Yeah, my willpower is nothing... I used my lunch break to go buy one. Lots of Defender Primes left but I can't say that I saw another Mindwipe besides the one I bought.
Still 2 Mindwipes at the Target on 53rd as of this morning. They refilled the shelves since yesterday so even if there isn't one out there might be more in the back.
Saw one Mindwipe at Super Target last night and about five Legends Devastators at the Wal-Mart near it! Mindwipe looks fantastic!!! : )
hello fellow Iowans, I have inlaws that I visit every year in Iowa. They are spread out among Spirit Lake, Mason city and Cedar Falls. Now Ive been to the Targets and Walmarts there; actually got a good deal on a Unicron a few years back, but I was wondering if any of you knew of a TRU close by any of those towns. Also, does Cedar falls have a specific Target or WM that gets good shipments?
I believe there's a TRU in Waterloo which is virtually connected with Cedar Falls. Never been to that TRU though.
Toys R Us on Kimberly in Davenport has at least 3 full sets of scouts Brakedown, Sonar, and Overload. Looks like they are working on a floor reset so you might want to keep your eyes open for new stock to be put out soon. Also, you don't have Brakedown I highly recommend him. I picked him up a couple weeks ago in Springfield and he's awesome. After seeing Sonar today I'll also say that he looks a lot nicer in person.
TRU in Davenport had the new Scouts, but not much else. They also seem to be the only ones with any amount of NEST Alliance stuff. Nabbed a Cybertron Ratchet and a Big Sister from them though Wal-Mart on 53rd had the scout two-packs (Dead Lift and Beachcomber, Slap Dash and Trenchmouth).
Nope, just the ones you mentioned. I've never seen them in hand before. Forgot to mention that the Wal-Mart did have one HA Barricade. If I hadn't bought the BS and Ratchet, I probably would have grabbed him.
I just scored Skystalker and Scattorshot at the 53rd St. Wal-mart in Davenport... There were a couple more Skystalkers left for sure but I think I got the last Scattorshot.
Stopped by after a bad day at work, no more Skystalkers or Divebombs thanks to me In my defense...there was only one of each. I kept Divebomb for myself, and gave Skystalker to my roomie (Ravage_Eject )
I got tired of driving all over town looking for the new deluxes so I ordered them off HTS... our Target stores suck here. I placed the order last Sunday, the website says usually just 1 day processing time, I received the "your items have shipped" e-mail Tuesday morning so I thought that was swell...... that is until the tracking number didn't return any results until Friday when it finally said, "we've been notified that we'll be getting a package to ship to you soon." Way to go Hasbro. :-/ On the plus side, I'll probably still get them before any of the stores around here do.
Got in the mood to do a big QCA TF hunt today (really just had to go get a DVD before my raincheck expires, ended up with much more...) Illinois-side: Target in Moline - 1x HA Barricade, several Wave 4/5 deluxes (including 1 Ice Cream Twins), the legends two-packs. Toys R' Us - Not much. Assorted deluxes, a Bludgeon and Recon Ironhide, very little else for ROTF. All of their Animated Deluxes, however, seem to be just Arcee and Cybertron Ratchet. Wal-Mart - Less than Toys R' Us. They've got older stuff in the line though (Stratosphere? Long Haul!?) so if for some reason you've missed out on the older ROTF stuff, go for it. Also had some Bludgeons. Iowa-side: Toys R' Us - They had Skystalker and company! Grabbed Skystalker and Scattorshot. One Scattorshot left that I could see. Also, they've got one Universe Inferno and two Vector Primes. Some other stuff is a bit cheaper (exclusive 3" titaniums). Wal-Mart - Had more of the Sonar wave scouts, restocked some older voyagers, and more of the Dirge wave deluxes. Had a LOT of new legends for Wheelie and Soundwave. Two HA Barricades.
No idea what other toy franchises folks are into, but the new Iron Man 2 toys started showing up in the QCA. I got a War Machine (not the one with a missile) and a Mark 1 armor. Pretty nifty little guys, and I might have to grab a few more ^_^ Target in Davenport had four Mindwipes. Still haven't caved on that one just yet, but soon. Might swing by TRU later today just to get out of the house.
How are all of the leg joints on your Mark 1? Are they really tight? The soft plastic (more like rubber) ball joints on his waist are all ready cracking on mine.
Yeah, they're pretty stiff. I figured it was for it to be in character (Tony didn't look too agile in the MKI in the movie ) but yeah. I try not to force it. Definitely think I'll have to get some more, like the Negative Zone armor or the little Iron Monger. Just some pretty cool little figures that don't cost a whole lot!
