Ankeny Walmart has the single pack Botbots for $3 a pop... Which is a ripoff IMO when the 5-packs retail for $10.
The Target in Coral Ridge Mall had 3 PotP Optimal Optimus there yesterday. Unfortunately I don't have the funds atm to grab one, hopefully one will still be there next week.
Southridge Target here in Des Moines has a full case of cybertron deluxes minus one hound, I snagged that slippery sucker! Truly feels like I'm getting prison raped at the cash register paying $21.19 though. Target does have a deal where you spend 50 you get 10 off, so that at least lubes it up a small bit.
On the plus side that at least feel much more solid and have more paint than what we've been getting the last few years.
While all of what you said may be true, I feel that for the extra money they could of left them the same size and done the same. I get it though, they are just maximizing their profits by taking advantage of our blind devotion.
Brickseek shows the G1 Legion figs in stock at most of the Des Moines area Walmart stores (like 72 per store!) but I just walked around the Jordan Creek store and found jack squat. I didn't bother asking an employee because, well, it's Walmart. Anybody that finds them, give a heads up on where. They weren't in the Transformers aisle. I think I saw somewhere that they're in the Bumblebee movie cardboard display. Found that, but didn't see the G1 Legion figs in it.
Just picked up all of the G1 minibots at the Walmart on Elmore in Davenport. They are on a Bumblebee display near the toy aisle and plenty are left!
Success! Tons of G1 minis at the 73rd/8th Walmart in Des Moines. In a cardboard display at the front of the store in front of the toy section. I grabbed two sets and left about 50 behind.
Smallest two size classes of Siege at West Glen Target. Not in TF section. Stand so you're staring at the Jurassic Park toys. Turn around 180, and look down.
Found the Siege Leaders at the Altoona Walmart. Only one each. Grabbed Surfin' Super Sayan Shockwave but left Ultra Magnus.
Scored a pair of Siege leaders at the Davenport Walmart on Elmore just a few minutes ago. They had one each (as far as I saw) and I took them both. Good chance the other QC stores have or had them too.
Ankeny Target had four Siege Leaders. I snagged a set and left a set. They pulled from the back, FYI. Sounds like Altoona Target is getting theirs tomorrow.
Does Beickseek not work for checking stock any more? I stopped by the Altoona Target and, not only, didn't see the leaders but when I checked the dpci for the battle masters that they had on the shelf Brickseek showed them as out of stock.
Brickseek doesn't work for the Siege line at Target. Walmart seems to work. Guessing the leaders are still in the back at Target stores around here. You have to ask an employee to look up the DPCI and grab from the stockroom.
So which one of you did I see in the TF aisle at the Ankeny Target tonight buying Seige Shockwave and Optimus?
