Power of the Primes Grimlock and Starscream at the South Side DSM Toys R Us as of noon today. There was one Grimlock and two Starscreams when I left.

 

Has anyone come across the Legendary Classic Voltron lions in the Des Moines area?

 

This is non-Transformers related, but if anyone is looking the Ankeny’s Target has a handful of SNES Classics as of 1 pm.

 

Ankeny Walgreens is chock full of Clones 2 packs. They had six, if anybody is still looking.

 

Just chatted online with a TRU.com rep and asked if they had a release date for Grotusque. She said she was showing 7,406 available online and none in any distribution centers (so likely not coming to stores as most suspected). She wasn't sure why it wasn't available to buy online since they had plenty of stock, she didn't have the ability to order directly, and she wasn't able to see any note of a release date.

So just wait longer, I guess?  

 

Good news for those of us looking for the PotP Wave 1 Leader Class figures. Looks like all area Target stores are now showing "Limited Stock", per brickseek (DPCI 087-06-6020). I called four different stores in the Des Moines area. All four indicated they had two, so I assume each store got one case. However, none of the stores were able to pull them for me, as they were all buried in a pile of boxes getting ready for a toy department reset sometime this weekend. All four stores told me to check back over the weekend and they should be out on the shelves.

Ames was the only store showing "In Stock", so I assume they must have gotten two or more cases (four or more figures).

 

I grabbed the only two PotP Leaders at the Altoona Target this morning. Looks like all other Des Moines area Target stores still have two other than Altoona and Mills Civic Pkwy.

 

Grotesque is available on the toysrus site for all that are interested. Just ordered one.

 

Valley west has a single Starscream left. I got a Grimlock and Starscream. No Leaders though.

Toys R Us in Clive though has both Grimlock and Starscream. No leaders there either.

 

Yeah, looks like Ankeny, Urbandale, Merle Hay, and Ames are the only Target stores with Leader stock right now, per brickseek.com.

 

It's not Transformers but the '84 Classic Voltron black lion is at Valley West Target. I picked up one and there were two left.

I am amazed and very happy that both QC stores are staying open.

 

I think the Clive listing is only the Babies R Us. We might have one TRU left when the dust settles.

 

I was surprised about that too. I figured Moline was going to be gone.

 

Found 1 POTP Optimus and 1 Rodimus at Moline Target. Left the Optimus.

 

Found 2 Rodimus Unicronus at moline TRU. Left both. Also had 3 leader primes there as well.

 

Davenport Wal-Mart on west Kimberly has tons of roadtraps, battleslash,and tailgates.

 

Wave 2 PoTP legends at the Ankeny Walmart. They won't scan in the system, so the cashier will have to enter it manually.

 

Walmart on 83rd street in Des Moines had 1 each Optimus and Rodimus.
