Found two Misfires at the Blairs Ferry Target. Not 100% convinced they weren't a clever illusion.

 

Kind of off topic but still toy related. Has anybody seen any of the new wave of Mattel WWE Retro figures at any area Walmart stores? These are the ones that look like the old Hasbro WWF figures from the 90s. This wave would be Triple H, Stone Cold, Mankind, The Rock, Sting, and Kane. I hit a couple Walmart locations around here that showed 20+ in stock via brickseek, but they were all from the first series (Lesnar, Cena, Undertaker, Warrior). They've been spotted in the wild as near as Minnesota. Again, sorry for the off-topic post!

 

Ankeny Target has a Twintwist and a few others from that wave of figures, finally!

 

Thanks for the heads up! I was able to snag the lone Windblade, but no sign of Twintwist or Misfire from that wave left.   Next time!

 

So, this is maybe old news, and they are not a traditional figure, but at the Walgreens on 31st and University I found these smaller 'Titan' style non transforming guys. Plastic is actually very thick and robust, but as you can tell they are simple. They are roughly seven dollars, and while they do very little, they are hefty and not hollow or thin at all. I kind of like Strongarm in person! Happy hunting!!

I found those weird Cyber-verse-battalion-cheap toys at Walgreens on Grand and EP in West Des Moines. They had Prowl, Jetfire, and Bumblebee and I picked up the Jetfire. It's...interesting. I'm not going to buy another but it's interesting to have had messed with one.

 

Found 2 each of Octone and Blitzwing at Davenport Target.

Hiawatha Wal-Mart got a full case of wave 6 Titans Return deluxes. There are still three Slugslingers left after I bought one.

Addendum: the Westdale Wal-Mart in CR has a full case of Overlords out on the shelf.

 

Ankeny Target has one leader Dragonstorm. I passed but he looks pretty good in person.

 

I'm still looking for the Titans Return Deluxe Wave 5 Twin Twist and Misfire. I found Windblade at a Target a while ago, but have yet to see her casemates. now I'm seeing Wave 6 hitting retail. Has anybody in the Des Moines area seen Twin Twist and/or Misfire?

 

Yes, at the Ankeny Target. However, that was late August, early September and they were gone by the next day.

 

Pretty sure that's where I found Windblade. I must have just missed her case mates. I'll keep trying!  

 

Found Wave 2 deludes from TLK at Moline Walmart last night.

 

Slugslinger at the SE 14th Walmart in Des Moines. I bought one and left one.

 

Full case of PotP Deluxe figures at the Mills Civic Pkwy Target in West Des Moines. I snagged one each (Jazz, Dreadwind, Swoop, Slug) and left one each. Had to pull them from the stockroom. I recommend giving the customer service desk the DPCI (087-06-5863), as the associate on the floor wasn't willing to check the back for me and I don't think they set the leftovers on the shelves. Brickseek shows only Mills Civic and Ames with stock right now.
