No Alternators for me at either the 94&WB or Maplewood Target. However, and I report this once again with the disclaimer that I'm not really collecting Armada/Energon. 94&WB has an end cap of Energon. I saw Energon Ultra Magnus, Tidal Wave, and pretty much everything else that's been reported thus far sans Scorponok and Prime. They also had some universe figures I haven't seen before, including Depth Charge and the Obsidian/Tankor 2 pack. Maplewood has a number of the basics, one Scorponok, and that's about it.
ALTERNATORS!!!! Got one at the Brooklyn Park Target, they had 2 when I got there and 1 when I left They also had Energon Magnus, Jetfire, Iron Hide, the wave one basics and Energon Tidal Wave.
This Morning TRU Burnsville had all Energon Deluxes and Smokescreen re-issue. The Target off 35W in Lakeville had Scorpinok and Energon Tidalwave. AppleValley Wallmart has craploads of basic and Deluxe figures. Bloomington TRU has Smokescreen and Grapple re-issues. So far I have everything in Energon except the repaints and Prime. I'm very impressed with the new line. It has the best of every previous line rolled into it. Wich Alternator did you get Shin?
Smokescreen, he's the only one out yet. Got Energon Starscream at the Minnetonka TRU. Up in the overhead and the only one there
Maplewood Target was nearly cleared out of all Energon (including Scorpy) yesterday when I went back. Woodbury Target was much the same. However, I was at the Woodbury store very near closing and (as I suspect they do more frequently this time of year) they were in the process of restocking the toy shelves. Unfortunately, I didn't see any boxes clearly labeled Energon or Alternators. However, as today is one of the busiest shopping days of the year I'd check for restocks at Targets as they're not going to want to miss out on potential sales if they can help it....
I went Alternators hunting today and came back empty Handed. i made sure to check the model car sections as well. For anyone looking for the Energon line, White Bear still has a nice selection on the end cap previously mentioned. They even had Energon Jetfire.
Yeah, nothing special at Maplewood, White Bear, or Woodbury Targets. Incidentally, I know this is a "Minnesota sightings thread", but I'll add that there's nothing special at the Hudson or Eau Claire Targets either! Shin, you lucky guy...
Must be balancing out for me striking out constantly earlier in the year, either that or they know my Birthday is Thursday
That must be it. It seems you're the only one whose found Alternators in Minnesota. I'm beginning to think the one you found was merely a fluke, or you're just dreaming and haven't yet woke up As if it wasn't bad enough, I saw a beautiful Subaru WRX in the parking lot today, taunting me...
The thing that sux is they had 2 I should have just grabbed the other one for one of you guys. At least I'm able to put BT Smokescreen back in his box. Now if I could just get a Scorponok
Well, I was trying not to feel jealous because I do remember getting Unicron a number of weeks before a lot of other people on the board. But, this morning I did find Alternators Smokescreen! Woot! I'm at my parents for the holidays and the local Target had one -- hidden behind the Ninja Storm Power Rangers!! Also, does anyone know anything about the boots that Big Lots is carrying? I've read some things about TM Megatron being one they carry. I went to the local Big Lots this morning and found a "Space Warriors Beast Tech Fighter" TM Rattrap that is about 2x as big as the original. He's pretty cool. They also had some kind of raccoon -- which character is that? The back of the package also shows the lion prime and the good looking BM Primal boot. Has anyone found these in Minnesota? What about the Megatron boot? Is it from the same line?
The Big Lots in Coon Rapids (I think it's in Coon Rapids) had TM Ratrap, BM Optimus Primal (very cheap mold) a Lio Convoy, some constructicons, and the Racoon. Maplewood Big Lots has TM2 Megs and Optimal Optimus. I believe the Racoon is a Japanese Beast Wars figure that actually had a clock in his chest. The Knock off has a Yin-Yang symbol in place of it.
Because of all the fuss about 88MPH in the TFGD I thought I'd mention the HotComics in Richfield has about 6 Genesis books if anyone is interested.
