Met up with a dude from one of the FB groups, who said he got Bluestreak a few weeks ago - at retail price - from that Amazon link, which currently says “unavailable.”

So I don’t know if this is a shared exclusive, or if there was some confusion about it, hence the lack of official announcement.

At any rate, eBay sellers have him in Colorado, so he’s getting closer...

Does any place still have preorder stock of Fasttrack? That's the last guy I've got with Target and I would not mind a backup...

 

Bloomington Target last night had a bunch of Ratchets and Sky Lynx's. Also SS Satellite Soundwave and Topspin. No cliffjumper tho. He's the last SS guy I'm looking for from the recent waves.

Started a new job where I’m in the cities almost every day. So that will help with toy hunting.

 

Searched just about every Walgreens in the south metro today. No Bluestreak.

Also, every Target I’ve been to has no WFC deluxes out on the shelves, even though they’re on sale this week. I’ve had to ask them to bring them out (nothing new) so they’ll sell through and re-order.

It’s not a case of them selling out on the floor because of the sale. Targets have been this way for weeks. Now they’re on sale, and they have them sitting in back.

EDIT as I was posting this, dude came from the back and put out wave one deluxes as I asked, and a guy and his son IMMEDIATELY bought a Wheeljack. Turns out people will buy these if they’re, like.... put out.

 

Still 3 MPM Ratchets at Blaine North Target. I'm tempted to stash one somewhere behind a display or something and wait for inevitable 50%+ clearance on them... If it is anything like Starscream, it's only a couple weeks away!

Also a Sky Lynx still there.

 

Okay so it's not just me.

Eagan Target has been saying there's like a dozen SS Deluxe figures but they're all in back.

For WEEKS.

Part of me is wondering if Target is pulling some s**t and waiting to stock fully until more people are shopping again.

Whatever the case.... it's definitely some BS.

 

You’d especially think during a week they are on sale, they would bring them out.

Meanwhile, Bloomington Target has no less than three Quintessons and multiple Megatrons. So Voyagers are being stocked no problem.

I think something’s going on with Target’s inventory specifically related to that Deluxe DCPI.

The website doesn't price match, no. But the store matches online... including their own site.

 

Richfield and St Louis Park usually don't have much. Downtown did have two skylynx and an Earthrise Optimus a few days ago, so that one might be getting better. Can't speak for the Quarry one, bit out of the way for me biking.

 

Sorry for the double post... but here’s a theory: What if the majority of the deluxe wave 2 shipment got lost somewhere due to COVID craziness? Maybe the logistics got screwed up around the port of entry to the U.S. and they’re all sitting in a warehouse on the coast

 

Plenty of G1 Blaster in Shakopee if anyone needs that.

 

FYI, Target still has the coupons for $10 off $50 and $25 off $100. Use them for the preorders that came out today!

Weird how fast some of the Studio Series 86 stuff sold out. The exclusives are still available though.

I'm surprised that the coupons are good for multiple use. I preordered all of Studio Series 86, the Target exclusives, and another Gigawatt using the $25 off coupon twice.
