I preordered Arcee, Smokescreen, Snapdragon, Quintesson Judge, and two Alicons from Target and the only one I haven't received is the Judge, which has been delayed multiple times. I guess it's fine if they eventually cancel it from my order, since I have the Pit of Judgement set. But I did order it on the BOGO deal with the wrong price to begin with, so it's like $15, so I'll just wait it out.

I preordered a Gigawatt from Target and Hasbro Pulse. This is a figure I don't mind having one open and one boxed, so if both are fulfilled it would be great. If not, hopefully I'll at least receive one of them.

 

Edina Target has a couple Sky Lynx, MP Ratchets, and a boatload of Doublecrossers.

Shakopee walmart had a ton of Netflix wave 1 deluxes and voyagers, as well as like 6 Blasters and a couple ER ops. Also a TON of he-man stuff. Is he-man coming back?

Tbh, lately when walmarts actually have stuff (gives Hidden Walmart the side-eye) they have a lot of neat, weird stuff that Target doesn't have. I dig it.

 

For the people still looking for MPM Starscream, Brickseek indicated that as of last night, the only Target in the Twin Cities with a 70% off Starscream was Edina.
If anyone cruises by and there happen to be two, snag one for ya boi.

In other news, my Walmart Snapdragon pre-order appears to have disappeared into the twisting nether after a delay of over a month then radio silence. Serves me right for ordering from Walmart, I suppose.

Blaine North Walmart (Ulysses) has a bunch of G1 Blasters. I think there was around 8 there.

 

I got SS Scrapper and Snapdragon after brief delays, as well as the Doublecrosser that I ordered last week. But I gave up on Airwave after a month of delays and am holding on to Overload to try and help some others out (but he's been pushed back like a month now as well)

I am not optimistic about Fasttrack, who's due in Nov.

I've never had an issue with Pulse. They communicate delays quickly and usually when they do happen the new date tends to be the only time it's changed.

So is wave 2 Deluxes for Earthrise gonna appear in stores at some point? I ordered Earthrise Arcee from Dorkside Toys along with some other stuff, but Smokescreen was unavailable.
Also, what is up with Earthrise Bluestreak? Is he Amazon exclusive or what?

No idea what is happening. Apparently some wave 2 sightings on the coasts. There must be a distribution problem, because stores have been mostly barren of deluxes for a while, while Voyagers have been getting replenished with Snapdragons (and now Megs and Quintessons.)

As for Bluestreak, Takara Tomy mall just put up a preorder for March. I’ve had a preorder at TFsource for a while, but who knows if they really have guaranteed stock. I read there’s a landing page on Amazon for him, but I can’t find it.

 

I'm guessing the COVID is screwing up a lot of things is one major reason. Some of the product is making it in, but not in the amounts they usually would. Like with Marvel Legends, somehow some stock has made it to online retailers, but nothing in stores yet. I might pick up Earthrise Megatron if I see him but haven't seen any wave 2 Voyagers yet up here in North Metro.

Bluestreak does have an Amazon page, but it basically says "Sold Out" To suggest they're not getting it in. Chosen Prime advertised him too, but also "Sold Out" It's like the Amazon exclusive Ramjet and Dirge 2 pack...just gone. Poof!

I ended up buckling and ordering Arcee on amazon since she was in stock and the Paradon Medic got pushed back to December. I figure if I don't like the mold I can just cancel and I'll still get Ratchet in SG form.

 

I find it very strange that there is still no official announcement of Bluestreak. I wonder if he was supposed to be the Walgreens exclusive, but now MAYBE Amazon is going to pick him up?

 

Same goes for thrust and to a lesser extent runabout. But given that galactic odyssey was an eleventh hour decision to do that line, I think COVID has shuffled around many things. What would be really interesting is hasbro in 5 or so years ran a report on what things changed when COVID happened.

 

I’m guessing Runabout and Thrust were always intended as Kingdom / Selects exclusives. Maybe they’re holding off on Bluestreak, and he’ll be repackaged in Kingdom - Styled packaging?
