He is awesome! My favorite so far. Paint apps look great. They even resemble their G1 counterparts pretty close too. You will not be disappointed.

I know this is a long shot, but is anyone going to San Diego Comic Con? I need to get one of those Ant-Man sets.

 

Did some calling around for Devastator yesterday and the Vernon Hills TRU (Illinois, I know) told me they got two in stock...that were both put on hold for other customers within three minutes of opening. Forget the SDCC set, we are the real Combiner Hunters here.  :

Oh yeah and apparently the Gurnee location got them in on Sunday...which confuses the hell out of me because if memory serves most places don't get deliveries on Sundays.

 

Madison TRU got in another case of Devastator this morning...

I think I'll wait for the Takara version of Devy but damn it's hard to wait when everyone else is so hyped haha!

You'd think the fact that since I actually have the TRU credit card, that they would throw a coupon my way here and there to be nice to their loyal customers, but nooooooooo.

 

For such a big figure that IMO seems hot atm why would Tru only have one shipment at a time? They could be making more money if they'd just stock new hot items that it seems only their chain is getting...

 

Because this was just their initial shipment, they likely are getting word that these things are flying off the shelves and trying to get more cases in for future shipments. Just give it time and I'm sure a more plentiful amount of Devastator's will hit shelves.

Now if only one would show up at my nearby TRU...

For the guys that have Devy in hand, is he worth that retail price? I'm on the fence on him since MP Tracks will be coming out soon. Plus him being $150, I was thinking about investing $15 more and get the reissue of MP-08 from TFS instead.

They just scanned it off my phone. Didn't even hesitate.

 

Stopped in at TRU today. I found it interesting the place holder to shelve Devastator has been removed and replaced with hex bugs stuff. I distinctly remember seeing it last week on the lowest shelf on the right side of the TF display area. Anywho, wave 2 of the CW deluxe figures are filling the pegs.

 

I stopped at the Appleton TRU tonight and they also removed the shelf tag for Devastator and filled in the spot with Jurassic Park crap.
