    FINALLY....THE ROCK HAS COME BACK TO....wait....

    <several tries later>

    *take 1137* FINALLY, COMBINER WARS HAVE BEEN RESTOCKED AT RUSSELLVILLE WALLY! They had the Op-Max deluxes, Battlecore Prime, and repacked Motormasters with supposedly corrected hips. Got a set on layaway now and left the rest. :)

    Yep, got all 6 of them. (Counting Wild Rider, not counting Blackjack. I have Blackjack but I like the car-less closed chest look better.) They are all good figures but the Breakdown mold to me is the weakest.

    im so loving these new combiners! but I have to disagree about the closed chest tho, I have blackjack just like he is on mah g1 menasor. but to each their own; I cant decide which combiner I like better tho, menasor is awesome (besides motormasters legs being a little loose), superion is great, defensor is super sturdy and frickin cool, and I think devastator is just the shiz-nit! im really looking forward to bruticus cuz I think he will most likely be my favorite. and the only thing that would make this combiner wars complete in my eyes would be that they make a predaking but im pretty sure that it wont happen.

    I agree Combiner Wars is definitely a good thing with how well they did Combiners since that abysmal attempt at FoC Bruticus. Another reason I don't use Blackjack is how hard it is to get him to stay put. :p  I've been looking forward to Bruticus as well but I have heard some bad things about Brawl so it has me leery. I have considered getting Takara's Bruticus for a new mold Blast Off (Don't have a problem with B.O. being a plane, just that they used an overused mold for him) and to see if they correct some of the waist problems with Brawl.

    The one drawback I have had with Combiner Wars is Scattorshot. First of all we get no Technobot limbs to go with him and most seriously is how lazy Hasbro got with his torso mode. He looks good in robot and jet mode but they really fell short on his torso mode looking like just a (too red) repaint of Superion. They could have at least given him a new combiner head. Scattorshot will be the first TF that I will actually be compelled to look at 3P upgrade parts for.

    ive got a fix for you with blackjack not staying... I know this sounds quite redneck, but put a small square of paper or cellophane over the hole that you want the peg to go in to and make sure the small square is big enough to still be slightly visible once you push the peg into the hole and voila! a really sturdy connection that cant be seen once assembled. as far as the brawl concerns, the waist shouldn't be a problem as a leg for bruticus. but if the legs aren't staying together just use the paper trick where they connect. you shouldn't be able to see the paper there either. but yeah; I totally agree about scattershot... hes pretty crappy looking in torso mode, but I think im with you on looking for a 3p upgrade for him.

    I was really looking forward to the combaticons for a long time but the more I see of them the less I want them. almost going to pass but haven't decided yet.

    For the most part, they still look pretty good. Even Blast Off with a jet mode. But Brawl, I can't believe he was green lit for production without noticing his issue with the waist not folding and locking into place. And every promo pic, Hasbro seems to have carefully posed him to cover it up. Does not look like it will affect him in leg mode but definitely puts a cloud over those were looking forward to them.

    yeah its kinda disappointing for sure. seems like the best came out first and it has been down hill since (at least for me). menasor with the floppy mess of a motormaster, devastator being too big, then defensor without a proper groove and now this brawl thing. just cant get a break. guess im too picky but superion just set the bar and the rest just havent lived up to it for me. superion is the only cw figure i have sadly. :(

    Dardanelle Wal-Mart has the Op-Max autobot limbs.

    And on a non-TF note, after one and a half years of keeping an empty peg for them, Russellville K-Mart have finally stocked some World of Nintendo 4" figures. They had Star Fox, Princess Toadstool, Fire Mario, and a Goomba.

    Took advantage of some of the hundreds if sales going on right now, got the AOE autobots united 5 pack for 27% off from hasbro toy shop, got the zenith aristocratic hunter set for beast hunters optimus prime for 39% off, and because I was buying them anyway, I got some articulated hands for mp-22.

    By the way, if anyone wants the mouth plated version of evasion mode prime from the 5 pack, PM me, he's $20 shipped
