Pretty awesome morning.Found Blitzwing and Octone at the University Drive Target and found Wave 4 of the TR deluxe as well as Road burn and Brawn at the Madison Target.
Octane looks bad ass. Also, I am really liking Blitzwing. Though I have not opened them yet oh I plan to. Looks like I will be retiring the Generation Blitzwing.
Picked up the last brawn at the oxford target yesterday. They got another case of blitzwing and Octone in today, it came home with me. Seems like target is actually getting stock in again. All the Walmarts in the area less so, except for movie stuff. Anniston and gadsden are still clogged with the Christmas revision waves of deluxes. Jacksonville still had onslaught, scattershot and skywarp.
Non-TF but the Hsv TRU has just stocked the Marvel Legends Spider-Man and Mary Jane 2 pack. Edit: Nevermind. We're out.
Hey, anybody in range of Foley. There's a comic shop called "Covert Comics". You need to go there. There's a section of Transformers of various Lines there. G1 Magnus, Ironhide, Ratchet, Inferno, some of the Seacons, micromasters galore, some Classics stuff, some Universe 2.0 stuff, Animated, G2, Reveal the Shield Bee and Prime, universe 2.0 Inferno, mini-cons, and more. Very decent prices (got myself a Universe 2.0 Galvatron for $14), and the G1 Magnus is near complete and going for $50. They also have a ton of comics, old and new, some older Star Wars stuff, Voltrons, old G.I. Joe, and more.
Not transformers but I spotted the Walgreens exclusive Marvel Legends The Invisible Woman at the Walgreens on Carl T Jones this morning.They had 4 of her.
Opelika Target has TLK Turbo Changer Megatron if you're into that sort of thing. (I am. They had two. They're down to one now. )
Went to toys r us in Mobile this evening...they have a few Perceptors and Kups and at least one Top spin. Didn't see any TR voyagers or leaders but lots of TLK stuff.
As far as TR toys are concerned, Opelika Target had Twinferno (X2), Hot Rod (X2), Kickback, Broadside (X3), and Soundwave as of last night. Opelika Walmart has the new legends, including Brawn (X2) and Roadburn (X2), as well as Kickback, Gnaw, and seemingly an endless supply of the wave 1.5 deluxes. They didn't have anything voyager- or leader-sized, which is a pity since I'd love to see Octone in person. I don't have an interest in TLK stuff but if anyone in the east AL area wants me to keep my eyes open for anything in particular, I'd be happy to help a proverbial brother or sister out.
Been seeing the Kup wave at a few Walmart. Mainly South Parkway as well as the Target in Madison had him but last I check someone grabbed him.
Also, for the Marvel fans I found the whole wave the ML Spider man Homecoming figures at the Walmart in Hampton Cove this morning. Found Rocket from wave 2 of the Guardians Vol 2 at the Winchester Walmart earlier This morning as well. No other figures from that wave though.
Anyone else here into Madballs? I'm looking for the Kidrobot foam ones that are redo's of the originals. They come in a net attached to a green peg card. TRU is supposed to have them, but I've checked the one here in Huntsville and no luck. Anyone else in the Huntsville area seen them anywhere?
I'm in Colorado but I saw them tonight in cheap section of toys at Walmart. They had most of them there. Hope this helps you out out there.
I haven't been able to find anything new at retail lately, but then I go to Ollie's and find a stack is fort maxes as tall as I am. Strange day.
