Nor do they care, they only worry about toys around Christmas they take a low yield department for them then run it in the ground even more.

Store/assistant Managers do cancel orders of things they "think" don't sale on the final orders but it doesn't matter who orders what, people don't understand at retail if you are able to order something it doesn't always get sent and the majority of WM is point of sale based so most departments that think they are ordering aren't really they just get told to do it.

It's the luck of the draw if you actually get the order into the gun, get it "approved" by management, then actually receive what you ordered.

I worked in the meat department and grocery the sad thing is the managers don't pay attention to what sells like you think they would they just let whatever comes in come in and hope they get enough of what they need.

The distribution warehouses don't care what they get orders for they just send things where ever they want to get it out of their way.

In meat it was really bad they would purposely send out items that they had that were almost expired to us so that we would have to mark the throwaways on our books instead of the warehouse having to mark it off theirs.

We would get in items that were older than the meat we had already put out.

The warehouses know the individual stores won't have time or can check their order sheet against the truck manifest.

Also, don't waste your time looking at Oxford Target or the WM in Oxford or Anniston if you are looking for combiner wars.

It seems Boaz got the all the shipments for Attalla, Gadsden, Oxford and Anniston of combiner wars.

Both Brakeneck and Quickslinger have been hopping in and out of stock at Amazon all morning, as I assume scalpers are buying out the inventory in bulk. I got one of each before they disappeared again. Maybe it will stabilize, and we won't be seeing a SDCC type situation.

Edit: Holy crap, as of 7:30 PM tonight, it looks like they were pulled from the website completely. The links lead to 404s.

Yep I think they underestimated demand, I was just going to get Quickslinger but I might as well get Wildrider if I can.

    I need more money.

They probably weren't supposed to be made available yet. People found their listings through "back door" means apparently. I could be innaccurate, but apparently a Google search found Amazon's listings for them, but searching on Amazon itself yielded nothing.

Also, am I correct in assuming they didn't have a limit per order on them? If so, that's incredibly stupid of them.

The only limit was your imagination...and the amount of stock on hand. When I bought 1 of each, they had 8 in stock. After I purchased them, they had none left, and a few minutes later, were marked "unavailable" again.

Could have been people like me, leaping on them to get one, or it could have been scalpers buying up the whole stock, who knows? Some folks have been getting reamed for admitting they bought 3 or 4.

I haven't seen CW Wave 2 here in North Alabama anywhere; I never even saw so much as a single Arcee or Chromia anywhere for that matter. Still a bunch of AOE figures at the Florence Wal-Marts and Targets, and a sporadic restock of CW wave 1 Deluxes and Voyagers. Curiously, the CW Legends seem to be in ample supply pretty much everywhere, but the TF sections keeps getting shoved out of the way for whatever new movie merch is coming. (such as Minions)

Target has 25% off Leaders with Cartwheel, but I haven't seen anything but stagnant AOE leaders collecting dust up over here.

Yeah I had never seen Arcee or Chromis either, I think they all went to online or will be showing up at Ross on Christmas.

Windblade, Nightbeat, Jhiaxus I only had ever seem in the TRU in Rome, GA.

Weren't they the last wave of figures that were supposed to be right before those 2?

I'm disappointed.... The Galleria Toys R Us didn't even have any Combiner Wars wave 1 deluxes, just a bunch of Nightbeats, Voyager Optimus Primes, Silverbolts, and Legends.

Last I saw, the TRU here in Huntsville is sitting on a stack of Jhiaxus figs. Two full pegs of them and that's it as far pre-CW Generations go. I guess people kept snapping up the Windblades and Nightbeats, and leaving the Jhiaxuses. And now the pegs are full of them and no room left for further restock. Being $19.99 certainly doesn't help either.

Actually I know this is going to sound weird but those Jhiaxus are likely all that came in the box. Hoover TRU once had 8 Nightbeats and nothing else. I went on a trip to visit family in KY and at the franklin, TN TRU there were 7 Windblades, and at the Clarksville, TN TRU there were 7 Jhiaxus. I found out from a friend of mine that you can order boxes of all one character. I just dont think the person who orders for TRU understood that, hence the odd distribution.

Hunh, that's a strange way of doing things. I could understand if it's an exclusive, but whole cases of a regular fig just seems really odd.

Does anybody here hit stores like Family Dollar? I've been looking for the Ultra Magnus/Cliffjumper/Skywarp Legends and was wondering if they're being spotted around here yet.

    For shibamura:

Bought Ultra Magnus, Skywarp and Cliffjumper at Family Dollar outside Maxwell AFB, 6.75$ ea this morning; they had one copy of each, with OP, Grimlock, and Bee still on the pegs. They had blind kreo packs (wave 4/hot rod/alpha trion wave) for 3.25$ea as well but Walgreens has kreo in that wave for much cheaper.

Also, wave 3 has begun at Prattville TGT; 1x Warpath (now gone).
