So, it looks like that Leader Megs I snagged was a return. In my excitement I neglected to notice that the tape had been broken, and he had none of those plastic ties holding him in the tray. Both of which I noticed when I went to open it today.

Went over the fig with a fine tooth comb and nothing seems out of the ordinary. Nothing broken, no stress marks, or anything. Everything's fine, except that little sticker sheet was missing. Which I don't care about since I wasn't gonna apply them anyway.

Very minorly annoys me that I bought a fig at full price, leader class no less, that someone else bought, opened, handled I'm sure, and returned. BUT with as hard as the G1 Megs is to come by now, I guess i can't really complain.

Love the fig though  

What was TRU charging for them? $25 like everyone else, or marked up as usual?

Hey got back from Boaz if you have skipped Silverbolt or Prime they have them both clearanced for $15. In front of the knife counter had a ton of primes only 2 Silverbolts.

Also, they had the stunticons at the 14.95 not that crazy $20 price people are saying they are seeing.

I just remembered they ha an Armada Megatron on the isle.

 

So, any further sightings of Motormaster and the wave 2 deluxes around here?

Shit, I'm so starved for more CW that I actually bought voyager Optimus earlier this week at the Drake WM(shocker, they actually had new stuff). A lot better than I thought it'd be. But makes me want Motormaster even more.

 

The TRU at the Summit has CW Optimus and Silverbolt, some RID bots like Strongarm and Drift, and Firefly, Alpha Bravo, and Drag Strip, and a crap ton of AOE Strafes.

 

Anybody on the Gulf Coast seen any of the CW deludes? I've only seen legends/scouts(Powerglide)

 

I saw wave 1 at Semmes Wal-mart a while back, but that has been it. I got wave 2 from BBTS while I had a pile of loot built up.

I gave up too and had ordered mine and got Defensor on preorder. Probably do the same for Ultra Magnus.

 

I gave up too and ordered online. I was told a couple of times that they won't get any new stock in until that moved the age of the peg warmers/ old stock. I wonder when hts will put up wave 3.

 

I don't know what the issue is with Hasbro stock. I have stopped going out of my way to look for stuff because the stores in the area don't have anything. Besides the crappy Transformers stock the Star Wars Rebels figures have been a nightmare to find. I got really lucky and found just 1 of each of wave 1 a few months back. I put them up for Easter, but I feel sorry for the other parents that can't find a simple figure for their kids.

 

True that about the Rebels figures. The show is a hit but the stores either are unable or unwilling to get the single figures in. The black Series sells like hot cakes at Walmart then the reset comes they drop the line like a bad habit. I would love to know who makes these decisions at Walmart. I was very lucky to find Chopper a few times in the wild. Oh, If anyone needs the CW wave 2 take a trip to Hartselle. I was there a few weeks ago and they had 2-3 full sets of wave 2. Not sure if they are still there.

 

Hey, if anyone is interested I thought they looked ok, at Anniston WM they had the green trex, yellow raptor, dilophosaurus.

Also, some neat little single pack Wal-Mart exclusive blind packs, the Triceratops is the best sculpt I got out of the 4 I picked up.

I hope they make some more Playskool stuff without electronics.

Anyone been to the Huntsville TRU lately? If so what did they have?

 

I was at TRU yesterday and they didn't much of anything. After getting the Motormaster wave of the Voyagers TRU got in wave 1. I think they only had 2 of Sliverbolt. The also have the remains of wave 1 of CW and no CW Legends as well as 2 Leader Armada Megatrons. Yeah, it will be a while before we will see anything. I feel like north Alabama gets left out of everything.

 

Yeah just left huntsville last week. Nada. Montgomery TRU reset their pegs, but nothing new. Sunstorm finally sold! :-D They started putting legends in the clearance bin at 50% off; might be something to look for in other TRU stores.. In non-TF related, new jurassic legos are out!!

Boaz WM found one AirRaid I picked him up, while everywhere else still has tons of wave one or nothing they have all wave 2 deluxes.

After I got Silverbolt on sale there, I didn't see if the voyagers were still on sale, I decided to get all of Superion, now only if Quickslinger would poop up somewhere for order.

Their wave one must have went fast.

 

I think a lot Wal-mart stock depends on the managers. I have talked a lot with employees and managers at the local Wal-mart. One issue is managers trying to make their department and store look better on the sales reports. If a item is not selling like they think it should they stop ordering it. Or worse if they have a couple of old stock items that fall in the same area as the new items they refuse to order more until the old sells.

 

Well, if that's true then why get rid of the black Series if it sold very well. One Walmart got in the Starkiller wave and sold out of it then they decided to nuke the 3.75 Black series during the last reset. The manager have no clue about what's hot. Oh ,that's right I forgot they don't know of a hot figure if it comes up and bites them on the ass.
