Oklahoma Transformers Sightings

Ummmm dude you know this is for transformer sightings right???

Yes, I know that. I have helped a lot of people in Oklahoma when it comes to Transformers, in an attempt to get them in fans' hands before punk-ass scalpers.

I've seen people post G.I. Joe sightings before on here, so why not Skylanders. If anyone wants to help me, I will help them. The level of help I provided people in the past, I am good for.

EDIT: I guess not, as we are now 7-2. I don't expect to win tonight, with Maynor's knee injury (which they haven't had an update on) and what with us playing the magical San Antonio Super-Seniors.

Duque, do you think it would be safe to just post here again? I - surprisingly - haven't been seeing any scalpers lurking about the stores. Perhaps it's due to the drout of TF related products hitting the shelves. Maybe they just don't care anymore. I have been mallratting stores like no other, trying to find Skylanders (caught up currently but would like to find Cynders to help others out), and I haven't seen anyone that I think would be scalping.

Well, let me retract that statement a bit. IF there is a scalper lurking, I bet he's focused on Skylanders, as 7 dollar figures - upon release - are going for 100+.

For some reason, though, I don't really think there is anything to worry about. However, if you think we should all still post there, I'm fine with whatever.

EDIT: Sorry, I haven't been contributing to the TF cause as of late. The TF well has dried up. I imagine things will pick up once Prime releases. I plan on still helping people here, when it comes to locating TF's, but if anyone can keep an eye out for Skylanders for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Here is my plastic crack (like Transformers is to you people).

When all is said and done, I end up with 5 of every Skylander. Activision made some serious bank off of me. These figures are placed on a portal and come to life in the game. Anything they do in game is recorded straight to the figure, which can then go to any other version of the game, at other peoples' houses, and they will still know what they learned from your game. It's like buying toys that do more than just sit there. This is my personal collection, just to show how crazy I am about Skylanders. This doesn't include the full set of characters, that both my son and daughter own. These were updated after I got the remaining figure I needed from this newest wave, which came out this month.

Here is one of two complete sets. I use one set for displaying, and to go down upgrade path A (there are two upgrade paths for every Skylander).



Here are both sets of figures on top of the casing my friend, Scott, (who I met at TRU thanks to this game and found out him and his wife live on the same street as me) found. These are Stanley boxes normally used to store tools. They're great for toting Skylanders should people use them for tournament play.



These are my uber rare collectable Skylanders. Only a handful of the silvers exist in the world. They released 3. I got all three. The gold Chop Chop is one of 50 in the entire world.



I think this is to me, what TF's are to you guys. I spent 2011 bragging about the best RPG to ever grace gaming, Xenoblade. However, seeing as that's finally coming out in North America in April (Gamestop only), Skylanders became my favorite game of 2011. I can't say enough good things about it. Any gamer should really give it a try.

If anyone can keep an eye out on these, I will keep contributing to you guys' TF cause (I'm done with Transformers but since I have friends here I will keep posting to stay in touch). I am only looking for the character, Cynder, to help other people who are having trouble finding her. She's in a pick above. Single pack, next to the triple packs, bottom row, purple dragon. Again, any help is appreciated.

Well, I guess I remain Hasbro's bitch.

I was going to stop collecting Transformers, but I will collect the TF: Prime toys.

After seeing that deluxe Wheeljack and Soundwave, it just clicked in my head, that I had to have these.

So, the exodus continues. Skylanders and TF: Prime are going to murder my wallet.
