How does it work other than having two emails? Like does the "friend" has to start buying stuff off their site in order to get the 20% off code?

the friend gets the code when they register through the link you send them
i think when they make a purchase, you should then get your own code as well but i'm not certain about that part

Right ok, I give it a try another day. Like the Cliffworthy Cliffjumper pack is discounted but still abit pricy but 20% off means it will be at £40 which is more acceptable price to buy!

Hello I noticed I was tagged in ab... *Sees what I was tagged in and blinks...* They are going to get in Jackie!?! AWESOME!!! We so rarely get the Target/Walmart stuff outside of Pulse. Might be later than Pulse but if I saw that little birdie reduced at Game in a year's time, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it and make a custom as an OC. For sure will pick up Jackie though.

As for the aforementioned missing bird and the other... that is most curious. It's clear Fraiser Group has signed to be the UK supplier of the Walmart/Target sets which is great news. If I was a betting femme, then I would say the other two are in the back of house system but currently not in the public system to order (maybe still securing stock allocations?). It makes no sense for Hasbro to split them to another retailer, and who is left if they did? HMV? Possible. Entertainer? That has became a joke for Hasbro to deal with.
I did check the site and out of stock part, I even tried key words like their names and code names. Nothing is on the public site and sadly I cannot ask my local to check, they closed down last week.

... Excuse me how much!? What the heck is going on with HMV??? I would order from them but I am always hesitant about it due to them being in and out of administration more times than I can count. But a 20% discount? That sounds like a good deal...

While it's not split but eyeah, GAME is no longer special for being the sole retail to get the exclusive in the UK

Voyager Class Star Raider Ferak Transformers Legacy United Hasbro Action Figure | Action Figure | Free shipping over £20 | HMV Store

Deluxe Class Star Raider Lockdown Transformers Legacy United Hasbro Action Figure | Action Figure | Free shipping over £20 | HMV Store

Deluxe Class Star Raider Cannonball Transformers Legacy United Hasbro Action Figure | Action Figure | Free shipping over £20 | HMV Store

Ok so they got Ferak but not Filch? Is the birdie hard to catch?

Eventhought HMV appear to got the Star Raiders, there isn't a local store over here so GAME would be my best bet eventhought it's tiny. I know the nearest HMV from here is Chester I think? Even then that store is a former shell of its glory (used to have a massive store back in the 90's and early 00's)!

Question, if anyone knows. How is HMV's track record with honoring their online prices as I am sure many are quite aware of Amazons Legacy Transmetal 2 Megatron fiasco a year or 2 ago. Considering that 4 pack. Thanks in advance.

i don't think i saw anyone have any issue with code red or the reactivate pack's prices
only issue with those seemed to be how long it took for people to receive them

I only signed up to HMV to get the Starscream and Bee pack which was last January. The pre-order price was £39.99 and was still the same price as I check the site when looking at those new figure pre-orders (sold out now).

No matter how many times they fail you, you will keep giving them another try?

Damnnnnn! HMV also carrying that line is a huge surprise! If that birdie shows up on HMV, I might see if I can get a referal code for the order and cancel my Pulse order.

Funny that. HMV is still going strong where my local Game has closed... it's not a big store by any means but its better than nothing. They did have some Legacy figs last I checked but I don't know if they got anymore new stuff in.

    Yep!

Purely anecdotal from personal experience my nearest branch in Huddersfield seemed to start out with Funkos and tat like that over the last 3 or 4 years or so, gradually expanding into Star Wars Black Series, Marvel Legends and DC Multiverse figures as well, then the ROTB mainline, so Reactivate was a surprise but looking at their site their seems to be a relatively recent push to expand their TF stock from Legacy Evolution Wave 4 onwards Plus Wave 3 Dreadwing along with Legacy United Wave 1 thru 2 all listed as "Coming Soon"?
I wonder if they've bought in some Close Out discount latter Evolution stock along with signing up for the current line?

Good to know this was more of our of the blue than having the past stuff all of this time behind my back or nobodies reported it. Yeah I do remember the only TF stuff they had were Funko and dvd/blu rays.
Still after the Trooper builder multipack for cheap so I thought they may had it in the past.

IIRC weren't they comparatively late to stocking it? I wonder if HMV's stock buyers have been testing the waters and seen encouraging sales?
I suspect the may have been getting in Close Out wholesale stock like Dodgy Mike has been.
It doesn't seem that HMV are a part of the Fraser Group though, so maybe just a similar tactic, moving into forbidden Planet collectibles territory to shore up their physical media sales?
