Got a reservation waiting for me at Argos (following Dirge121's report), here's hoping that it's a Dark Scorponok! He's one of the few I don't have now.
Also TRU appear to have a 3-2 on. And there's a sighting in the Hub which reports Dark Scorps + Hot Shot, Landmine, Dirt Boss and Thundercracker in the Gateshead TRU.
I personally eyeballed Hot Shot, Landmine, Dirt Boss and Thundercracker all in toys r us northampton - all on 3 for 2.
w00t on the news for the deluxes, I'll be checking out Argos + stuff nearby, as parents refuse to take me to Toys R Us, though, might be able to go to the leicester one, if so, Thundercracker, Landmine + Dirtboss here I come.
Apparently the Cardiff TRU has Superion MMs in and in the 3-2 offer. I could have had Superion for £12 but I did exactly the same as Twin Twist. Damm my trigger happy ordering fingers !
It could be that the Wave 1 deluxes are *only* going to TRUs. Certainly that's the only place they'd been seen until now. Everywhere else has had the wave 3 ones, which TRU didn't get. Would be similar to what went on with some of the Energon basic and dlx waves last year - I know Woolies were the only ones that got the Doomlock and Command Ravage wave. And I think they were the only shop to get TowLine & Downshift.
Disturbing news in the Hub Sightings Thread Dark Scorps is solid packed 3 to a box. Say goodbye to getting Jetfire and Scourge ! And just about everything after that, this is practically putting a bullet through the ultra size already *unless* wave 1 gets distributed along side it. HASBRO UK: Assortment = More than 1 type of toy ! It also shows Hasbro are continuing their policy of only packing toys in the wave they debut in which isn't good either if there's a mountain of the previous wave on the shelves still. It also reduces the number of different toys on the shelves at one time. Most disturbing.
Tesco's have Cybertron basics on clearance for £3.48. Weirdly the shelf tag does say its Transformers Energon Basic, but when it ran through the till it was still the discounted price. Grabbed Scattorshot for cheap. What I find incredibly crap, is that Action Man ATOM is up to its second wave, with 2 sets of good guys (4 different figs each wave, so 8 figs) 2 sets of bad guys, (4 in the first wave, 2 extra in the second, making 6), 4 different small vehicles, 1 medium sized car, 1 large car, as well as 3 bigger 12 inch figs. And a cartoon (with 4 ep DVD out), and a new comic (written by Simon Furman no less). Which counts to a lot of toys already. Bias? Never heard of it.
I think it's been well known for many years that Hasbro UK can't see no further than their home grown pet line :-(
Damnit, My local Tesco's doesnt stock Basic's, and the Parents refuse to go to Northampton or Leicester Tesco.
Of all the toys in Cybertron, I thought Dark Scroponok was the one least likely to be released in Europe. Ah well, it's probably at the expense of CD Red Alert or something.
Brent X TRU has new Cybertron in, 3 for 2. Hotshot, Landmine, Thundercracker, Dirtboss are there, along with Dark Scorponok and the Micromaster aerialbots! 3 for 2 on Star Wars too, looks like its a special Hasbro promotion thing!
anyone got any pics of Euro Packaging Hot Shot, Dirtboss, Thundercracker, Landmine, Prime, + Supreme-Scream?
Yup. I got Hot Shot, Landmine, Thundercracker and the 6 Aerialbots for around £32. Be careful though when you pay, the TRU till will take the cheapest of you haul to make free. So if you have 3 toys, there's no problem. For instance I bought those 9 the other day and paid for the class sizes seperately. If you pay for them all at the same time, the 3 free ones would have been 3 aerialbots, instead of 1 deluze and 2 aerialbots. Check your reciepts!
