Toys r us in Jackson had a large stock of FoC wave 3, FoC voyagers wave 1, and data discs. No beast hunters or FoC Grimlock or Blaster though.

Figures, my TRU didn't have much of anything new, not with the BOGO 50%off and I had coupons....damn.

So I bought a BH Bee for my nephew and finally p/up TFP Airachnid for myself...so not a total loss. (Gave my nephew the first one I bought...he wanted it so much.)

As for Grimmy...local TRU folks are saying a couple more weeks b4 they expect anything in this area.....at best.

Ooopps, almost forgot...Target didn't have squat either.

Man, what is going on with Walmart? Every one I go in is BARE in the Transformers section.

Walmart (and the other major retailers) seem to have decided not to carry many new Hasbro products.

Of course not. This is the standard lull after Christmas. By the end of February we're gonna see stores saturated with a fresh round of unmoving crap.

I know your comment is just off the cuff, but then why would there be an overwhelming amount of Star Wars, Beyblade and Marvel items next to the EMPTY Transformer pegs?? Those Hasbro items seem to have found their way to the shelves.

So...where are the shipments??? Who hijacked our TF stuffz? :lol

In all seriousness, I asked a couple of the "stocking" employees and they seemed to not understand the empty pegs/shelves either. They say they're waiting for shipments, they swore there was nothing being held in the back for 'street dates' or anything. *shrugs*

    /bit of a rant

Funny that the "post Christmas lull" started in October.

I just don't understand why TRU has had Beast Hunters plus more new FoC stuff while Walmart sits bare, and other toylines restock around the Transformers. My best guess is that Walmart corporate underordered Beast Hunters wave 1 because Prime wave 1 sat on the shelves for so long.

Yeah, possibly...but with all the 'resets' they've completed in their toy sections, the managers have to have noticed the big empty spots...and call attention to it somehow. I've always heard that WM mgmt goes ballistic over blank shelves....or used to.

Oh well...they'll show up after we've all purchased everything from TRU or Target.

Walmart has already publicly confirmed that it will only stock GI Joe Retaliation toys in select stores. That's a VERY bad sign for a toy line supporting a major film release. With nothing mass-media wise on the horizon for TF in the near future, I can't imagine TF's prospects are much better.

Target at Turkey Creek had all of the wave 1 Beast Hunter Deluxes, and the two new BH Cyberverse vehicle playsets. The lull is starting to fade, my friends!

Ray Mears Target had wave 1 Beast Hunter Deluxes too tonight, I was surprised to see them outside a TRU. No Cyberverse vehicles there though.

I just hope they start getting in the FOC stuff as well.

I know...I just had to rant a little. :lol

Ray Mears...this means Knoxville, right?? Just checking.

Actually, I found 1 wave of BH--Bee, WJ & SW... and the Sideswipe wave of FOC at WM...ONE TIME, ONE TIME ONLY...this had to be right around Xmas....so it's been over a month since they've had a shipment...or at least stocked any more TF's. So yeah, they've been sighted outside of TRU...but it's been a rare thing, here in Clarksville anyway.

Target in Murfreesboro has wave 1 of Beast Hunters, the Cyberverse vehicle with Smokescreen and the new Botshot Launchers of Prime and Bee.
